Rock, Roll 'N' Research: 2004 Disability Research Conference

Description:Conference Goals and Objectives: Identify areas of research needed to improve the quality of life and care for individuals with disabilities and their families. Promote and expand research currently underway. Allow networking opportunities for professionals from multiple disciplines to generate ideas for initiating and collaborating on new research endeavors. Disseminate information on the newest technologies available for improving the care of people with disabilities. Attendees: The conference will bring together professionals from the disability community, including physicians, nurses, dietitians, physical and occupational therapists, speech/language pathologists, biomedical engineers, rehabilitation engineers, social workers, psychologists, and teachers. Conference workshops and general sessions are designed to provide in-depth interaction on the challenging issues that people with disabilities face.
