Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) Convention 2011

Description:This Hearing Loss Association of America 2011 will be held in conjunction with the 2nd International Hearing Loop conference. The Loop conference is a highlight of the Get in the Hearing Loop campaign, in collaboration with HLAA and the American Academy of Audiology. A Research Symposium titled: The Noise on Hearing will be sponsored by the Deafness Research foundation. Attendees will include consumers with hearing loss, their families, professionals that educate and work with people with hearing loss, and federal government departments and agencies. Workshops include Parents and Educators Day with over thirty workshops, including several of interest to parents and teachers of children with hearing loss. Attendees can also enjoy the following events: A Capital Kick-Off Grand Opening and Luncheon, A Wicked Evening at the Kennedy Center and A Capital Celebration Evening Banquet as the highlights of this conference.
