Why did you purchase the product?
The phase change cool vest was purchased to help me cope with extreme summer heat.
How well did the product meet your needs?
The cool vest works very well in 90 degree heat.
Are there specific features of the product that you liked?
The cooling vest can be worn beneath a loose fitting garment. The phase change material can be recharged in ice water or a refrigerator. A spare set of phase change material packs can be stored in a small picnic cooler with ice packs ready for use in the event of prolonged activity in extreme heat and changing the cooling packs in the vest takes only a few moments.
Are there specific features of the product that you disliked?
The first couple of times wearing the cooling vest was mildly uncomfortable, but after wearing it a few times I became accustomed to it.
Any other comments about the product's performance?
The cooling vest is an excellent product for helping me cope with outdoor heat, I can do things outside in the summer for two to three hours wearing the vest. Without the vest I last only about 20 minutes in 90 degree heat.
