How well did the product meet your needs?
Although only two weeks into it, it seems simple enough to operate, the learning curve is not too bad, and as we get to know the various "tricks" of living with a tracheostomy, the number of alarms is reducing dramatically.
Are there specific features of the product that you liked?
Size, Weight, Many power options, Ease of operation.
Are there specific features of the product that you disliked?
Too many alarms during routine procedures - i.e.. suctioning, passey-muir valve use, breathing treatments. However, I don't know how they could reduce the alarms for these procedures and have them operative otherwise. I can shut them off temporarily but the danger is in forgetting to turn them back on - especially for noon-family care-givers.
Any other comments about the product's performance?
The LTV 950 has more modes and options than any one patient could ever use. So some of the indicators are not applicable or less than important. Still the more I learn about the workings of the lungs, the more I appreciate the numbers.
