SIVA is "the Italian Internet portal providing information and guidance on assistive technologies for independence, quality of life and participation in society of persons with disabilities." SIVA, which stands for Assistive Technology Research and Information Service (Servizio Informazioni Valutazione Ausili), provides a Web-based database of assistive technology. SIVA is a member of the Alliance of Assistive Technology Information Providers.
