    The Garaventa Evacu-Trac, model CD7, is an attendant operated emergency evacuation carrier designed to transport wheelchair users down stairs to safety during situations when building elevators cannot be used. This folding evacuation chair consists of a metal frame with six auxilliary wheels to allow it to move on flat surfaces and to pivot for negotiation on small stair landings, two rubber tracks to grip the stairs, and a sling-seat with adjustable safety belts with quick connecting Velcro straps to secure the individual at the chest and legs. The unit carries one person and uses the passenger's weight to propel itself down the stairs. The speed is restricted by a hydraulic governor. The chair can also be brought to a complete stop by releasing a hand brake. SPEED: The unit can descend stairs with an angle of up to 40 degrees at 3.6 feet per second, depending on passenger weight. CAPACITY: 300 pounds. OPTIONS: Flush or surface-mounted storage cabinets. DIMENSIONS (LxWxH): 51.6 x 16.8 x 31.9 inches open; 43.3 x 16.8 x 10.6 inches folded. Ground clearance is 0.8 inches.     The Garaventa Stair-Lift is a wheelchair lift for interior stairway access in multi-story buildings, and some exterior applications. The lift can be configured to fit most straight stairways without any intermediate landings. The system includes a grab rail to assist passengers in entering or exiting the platform, and the Garaventa Intelligent Control System (ICS), an electronic control system designed to simplify wiring and reduce service time. The lift can be operated by the user or an attendant. Hand held 24 volt operating controls are standard equipment for attendants to operate the lift while walking up beside it. The platform is called to the desired floor using a key-activated wall-mounted call station. When the platform arrives, the user wheels onto it. A continuous pressure switch moves the platform up or down as required. After arriving at the target floor, the platform will automatically stop. Three models of the Stair-Lift are available. MODEL GSL-1: This model is designed to handle turning stairways with multiple levels. The platform will stop at each floor, like an elevator, to provide total building access. MODEL GSL-2: This model is designed for straight stairwells without intermediate landings. It uses a C-channel rail and, depending on wall construction, the rail can be attached directly to the wall or be supported by towers. MODEL GSL-3: Designed to follow both the inside and outside radius of turning stairways. Except for its ability to follow the outside radius, this model is identical to the GSL-1 model. PLATFORMS: There are three types of platforms available to be fit on any of the three models of Stair-Lift. Type S has touch-sensitive ramps and a touch-sensitive plate to stop the lift if the wheelchair rolls or if the lift encounters an obstacle; 6-inch high sidewalls, a non-skid surface, and an actuation bar to manually raise or lower the ramp. Type SP has, in addition to all features of the Type S platform, a Power-Fold and Power-Ramp which electrically raise and lower the platform and ramps. Type SPE has all the features of the Type SP platform and a Bar-Guard that electrically operates the safety arms. MOTOR: 1 horsepower (HP) direct current motor. SPEED: Travels 20 feet per minute.     The Garaventa Stair-lift, Xpress II is an inclined wheelchair platform lift designed to transport wheelchair users up and down a single flight of stairs with two landings. Designed for indoor and outdoor use, this wheelchair lift system consists of two extruded aluminum rails that run along the edge of the stairway, a stainless steel platform with sidewalls, and retractable restraining arms. The platform is available in two different models, 1000 and 1220. Model 1220 is a longer platform. A loading ramp and platform grab rail are also included to assist users when entering or exiting the lift. Wheelchair users can operate this lift simply by pressing directional buttons or turning a key. Call stations at each landing are also equipped with key switches or dirctional buttons so that the lift can be operated by another individual. For added safety the underside of the platform and the retractable arms are equipped with electronic sensors. If an obstruction is detected on, under, or alongside the lift at any time during operation, movement is immediately halted.. SPEED: The unit can descend stairs at 13 feet per minute, depending on passenger weight. POWER: The lift is powered by a .75 horse power (HP) motor and is controlled by a frequency inverter positioned under the conveyance. OPTIONS: Curved safety arms, a folding seat with seat belt, handrails, an attendant remote control, an audio-visual alert, side load, auto-fold, and emergency battery lowering features, and an auxiliary power system are available. DIMENSIONS (LxW): Platform 1000 is 39.4 x 31.5 inches open, and platform 1220 is 48 x 31.5 inches open. The lift sidewalls are 6.9 inches in height. Ground clearance is 0.8 inches. CAPACITY: 500 pounds. COLOR: Rail extrusions and loading ramps are bronze. The arms have a stone grey baked powder finish. The conveyance is beige. Custom colors are also available. WARRANTY: The manufacturer provides a one-year warrranty on all parts and labor. An extended warranty is also available.

    The Garaventa Stair-Trac is a portable wheelchair stairlift designed for indoor or outdoor use to allow an attendant to easily move a wheelchair user up and down most stair surfaces. The device fits most crossbrace wheelchairs, and will adapts to a child's narrow wheelchair. The device consists of a folding L-shaped unit with steel belted caterpillar tracks on the botton side to securely grip stairs, auxiliary wheels for flat surface travel, and a handle with the control mechanisms on the upright side. The device is equipped with a wear indicator and a stair slope indicator. It has a quick release safety belt to keep the passenger secure. A wheelchair support handle attaches by double safety latch. The handle detaches for storage. OPERATION: Wheelchair is backed up over the tracks and handle lifted upright. The handle is attached to the wheelchair using adjustable clamps. Safety belt is fastened, headrest adjusted, and passenger is reclined on the handle. Unit and passenger are moved to the stairway using the built-in auxiliary wheels and positioned at a 90 degree angle to the stairs. Ascending or descending the stairs is initiated with a push button that engages the motor. POWER: Battery powered, key operated. A gel cell battery charger is included for the two 6-volt batteries. Maximum power capacity is 650 stairs. High reduction gear drive. 12 volt direct current (DC). BRAKES: Waterproof, electro-magnetic disc brake. OPTIONS: Ramp for loading into and out of the car trunk, and a seat for those not in wheelchairs. DIMENSIONS: 36.5 x 58 x 25 inches. SLOPE: Maximum stair slope is 35 degrees. SPEED: 21 feet per minute ascending; 25 feet per minute descending. CAPACITY: Maximum load is 285 pounds. WEIGHT: 119 pounds.

    The Garaventa Super-Trac, model TRE-52, is a portable inclined platform wheelchair lift designed for use by wheelchair users. This lift can be used indoors or outdoors on the stairways of public or residential buildings. Its moving platform design accommodates all types of wheelchairs, including power, children's, sports, and conventional adult wheelchairs. To operate the lift, an attendant guides the user onto the platform in a reverse position. The user is secured on the platform by a series of integrated tie-down straps and a seatbelt. Using the on-board controls, the attendant stands behind the platform and holds the handlebar to guide the platform lift as it travels on double wide tracks up or down the flight of stairs. This lift features an integrated non-slip loading ramp, fail-safe electromagnetic braking system, and large wheels to ease travel across landings between flights of stairs. The lift can be stored when not in use. POWER: Uses 24-volt sealed rechargeable batteries (batteries and charger are included). CAPACITY: 440 pounds.

    The Genesis Shaftway Vertical Platform Lift is an interior or exterior wheelchair lift designed for use by individuals with spinal cord injury, lower extremity disabilities, or mobility disabilities and others who use wheelchairs. This platform wheelchair lift fits inside a pre-built vertical runway, and can be installed for interior or exterior use. The lift system consists of a drive mast, passenger platform and doors or gates. The platform is enclosed on three sides by galvanized steel panels. A variety of doors or gates can be installed on this system, ranging from aluminum and Plexiglas to fire rated doors. Available entry/exit configurations are front only, front to rear, or front to side. The lift can be completely enclosed, much like an elevator shaftway, or it can be open at the upper landing. Safety features of this system include interlocks to ensure the door is locked while the platform is moving; an emergency stop/alarm button; a control for manually lowering the platform in an emergency; and auxiliary power drive in event of power failure (standard on hydraulic models). POWER: Uses continuously charged batteries. OPTIONS: Fire rated doors; aluminum door and upper landing gate; custom finishes; custom infill panels; three-stop unit; attendant call button; and keyed call stations. DIMENSIONS (LxW): The passenger platform is 94.5 x 36 inches (compact), 54 x 38 inches (standard), 60 x 38 inches (mid-size); or 60 x 43 inches (large). Door width ranges from 36 to 42 inches. The drive mast has seven lift height options ranging from 45 to 171 inches. CAPACITY: 750 pounds. COLOR: Champagne finish. WARRANTY: 1 year after installation.

    The Genesis STAAGE 44 Portable Vertical Wheelchair lift is a wheelchair lift designed for use by individuals who use wheelchairs. This three-wheeled portable lift can be wheeled into place to provide an accessibility solution for low-rise vertical barriers such as stages or podiums. It comes fully assembled for immediate use after setting the upper landing limit to the height required. This lift can reach vertical heights of up to 44 inches. Standard safety features include a lower landing call station with key to prevent unauthorized use of the lift; rocker style operational switches with automatic stop when switch is released; emergency stop/alarm switch to stop platform movement; an automatic access ramp that locks in the raised position while in motion; heavy-duty sensor switches that automatically stop the platform when an obstacle is encountered during downward travel or move in reverse to avoid the obstacle; electro-mechanical gate interlocks that prevent the platform from operating unless the gate is fully closed; and a hand wheel to manually move the platform in case of a power outage. POWER: Uses 120 volts alternating current (AC) from power outlet. OPTIONS: Lower landing platform gate and an upper landing call station.     The GSL Artira Inclined Platform Lift is an interior or exterior wheelchair stair lift designed for use by people with lower extremity, mobility, or physical disabilities or spinal cord injury and others who use wheelchairs and those with limited mobility. This lift can be customized to fit existing stairs and fits straight or curved stairs and can accomodate turning stairways and intermediate landings. The unit folds up when not in use. The platform travels along guide rails mounted to the inside or outside of the stairs. A curved safety arm surrounds the passenger. It has sensors that will automatically stop the lift if the platform should encounter an obstruction, pedestrian safety lights located at the base of the ramps, and an emergency stop button. CONTROLS: It has a durable and vandal resistant platform control panel consists of two large illuminated directional control buttons and an emergency stop button. POWER: The 2-horsepower drive system is located at the upper end of the Artira and is available in two arrangements; the standard Drive Box and Compact Drive; both use main current. CAPACITY: 600 pounds. COLOR: Available in many colors;satin grey is standard. WARRANTY: 2 years with optional 5 year extended warranty.
