1. BIG HUG DEEP PRESSURE POSITIONING AID

   The Big Hug Deep Pressure Positioning Aid is a deep touch pressure device for sensory integration designed for use by children with sensory integration, emotional, or neurological disabilities or autism who benefit from deep pressure stimulus. The child lays down on the pad, which has five adjustable body wraps with hook and loop straps that can provide a range of wrap-around pressure to five separate areas of the body. This product includes an adjustable waist belt and cushioned shoulder straps for application of downward pressure as well as a horseshoe-shaped pillow for additional safe, head control when the child is laying in the supine position. This product is lightweight, portable and folds in half for easy storage, and it is made with institutional quality, water-resistant materials that are treated with bacterial and mold retardants. 2. CLEAR NON-GLARE ACRYLIC OVERLAY (MODELS 11D.3A & 11D.3B)

   The Drop Off Wedge, model 102, is a positioning wedge designed to provide support to individuals in the "all fours" position. The wedge is made of fire retardant foam and upholstery. Two straps on the top and one strap on the shorter vertical side (H1) help to maintain the user's position.    The Foot Harnesses 2A, 2B, and 2C are foot pedal attachments designed to keep feet fixed in place. The harnesses include sandal (heel/ankle straps) and a plastic mounting base for snap on/off attachment to the pedals.    The Functional Forms Incline Wedge, models 103 A-C, is a positioning wedge designed to provide support to individuals lying in a prone on the forearms position or on their back. Therapeutic benefits of the wedge may include increased flexibility at the trunk, shoulders, hips, and knees; weightbearing through the arms; head control and upper trunk strengthening; focusing the visual field for eye-hand activities, and helping to releive back, breathing, and digestive problems. The wedge is made of fire retardant foam and upholstery. Wide straps with velcro closures help to maintain the user in good alignment.     The Hand Positioning Cones (HPC) models 7A.1 to 7A.4 are hand cones and visual body orientation aids designed for use by individuals with perceptual motor problems to improve head and trunk alignment and balance, prevent or counter abnormal wrist and arm rotation and erratic movement. The cones are made of cushioned wood with stud and includes a washable cover, Snap On-Off Surface Anchor with insert, and a Poly-Lock Mounting Pad with adhesive Backing. 13. LITTLE RAM (MODEL 6A4)

    The Little Ram, model 6A4, is a child's tricycle designed for use by children with physical disabilities. The basic unit has a powder-coated steel frame with nylon bushings; a bucket seat with tilt forward/back seat adjustment and infinite back to front positioning; cushioned drop-style handlebars; solid synthetic rubber tires (latex free); large, slip-resistant pedals; turn-stop to help prevent tipping; steel foot crank; and solid wheel rims. There are no steps for getting on this tricycle. DIMENSIONS: The frame is 24 inches wide with a 26-inch deep wheel base. The bucket seat (HxLxW) is 9 x 7 x 11 inches. Frame has steel legs, oak tie bar, and four indoor outdoor casters. Encourages various amounts of independent upright weight bearing across trunk and lower extremities and maintains hip abduction. 20. POLY-LOCK PLASTIC TAPE FASTENER

    Poly-Lock is an alternative to fabric-type hook and loop tape fastening systems. It is made of tough, flexible polyolefin plastic with a self-interlocking mushroom-head pattern that will lock together in any position. The adhesive backed material comes with a super strenth 3M-brand rubber based adhesive and polyethylene protective sheet. This fastening tape can be used indoors or outdoors, is shock and vibration resistant, accommodates misalignment, holds underwater, is non-corrosive, adjustable, dishwasher safe, and cleanable. METHODS OF ATTACHMENT: Poly-Lock tape can be attached to a variety of materials using the pressure sensitive Poly-Lock tape; mechanical attachment (staples, rivets, etc); ultrasonic sealing to permanently fuse plain backed Poly-Lock to polypropylene surfaces; contact cements and "Super Glues"; and by sewing using extra strong nylon, cotton covered polyester, or waxed cotton thread.     The Portable Achievement Carrel, model 903A, is a desktop study carrel designed for use by children with communication, learning, or behavior disabilities. This portable carrel creates a semi-private tabletop space to help students concentrate on their work by controlling their surroundings, including the visual environment, light, and sound. The carrel has a back panel and two side panels with optional windows, an angled work surface with an 18-degree slope, a reading easel with a dry erase surface on both sides, and a cross bar to hold the carrel open. The carrel frame is made of oak with plastic protective edging. The semi-translucent windows are made of flexible scratch-resistant plastic. The drop down work surface has wood grain Formica-style laminate on the writing surface and a dry erase surface on the underside or display surface.     The Prone Support Walkers, models 3A through 3E, are ergonomically designed prone standers and walkers for children and adults. These mobility orthoses are made of institutional grade materials including a sturdy frame with steel legs, an oak tie bar, 4 indoor outdoor enclosed urethane casters, and a Plastazote cushioned upper trunk support. 24. REAR ENTRY & LATERAL HIP SUPPORT

    The Rear Entry and Lateral Hip Supports are positioning straps designed for use with standers. The Rear Entry buttock support entry is designed to provide ease of entry for the Vertical Upright Stander (see separate entry). The arm swings out of the way for entry and locks for positioning. The lock can be opened and closed with one hand. An optional abdominal support pad is available for additional support. The Lateral Hip Supports feature a ball and socket mechanism to allow the pads to rotate 360 degrees. The rod and ball and clamp mechanism adjusts to accommodate hip widths between seven and nine inches. The curved, slipcovered foam pads minimize pressure points.     The Rhino Tray, models 11A and 11B, is a wheelchair lapboard and work tray for children and adults with lower extremity and mobility disabilities, spinal cord injury, and others who use wheelchairs. PolyLock Fasteners incorporated in design eliminating the need for screws or bolts in the tray surface.. 31. STANDING FRAME CONVERSION KITS (MODELS 1.7 & 1.7A)

    The Standing Frame Conversion Kits, models 1.7 and 1.7A, change the 1A model standing frame to the 1B model and the 1AT model into the 1BT model, respectively. (See separate entries for these standing frame models.) This enables the 1 to 5 year old versions to fit 4 to 7 year old children. Both kits include two 19-inch aluminum uprights, two 21-inch wooden supports, and a longer hip belt. WEIGHTS: Model 1.7 weighs approximately 5 pounds, Model 1.7A approximately 10 pounds. 32. TABLET ARMS TRAY (MODEL 11H)

    The Tablet Arms Tray 11H is a swing away lapboard designed for individuals who frequently transfer in and out of a wheelchair. This portable tablet sized tray can be carried in a wheelchair backpack or stored without obstruction by snapping it onto the side of the chair. The tray is made of clear, nearly unbreakable polycarbonate plastic with a rim. Trays are made for right or left hand use. WEIGHT: Approximately 5 pounds.

33. TELESCOPING MOUNT HARDWARE FOR WHEELCHAIR TRAY (MODEL 11.1)

    The Telescoping Mount Hardware for Wheelchair Tray, model 11.1, is lapboard mounting hardware designed to secure trays to wheelchairs. This system includes powder coated arms, tubes, rings and poly-lock pegs to enable a lapboard or tray to be mounted to a wheelchair. WEIGHT: 15 pounds.

34. UNIVERSAL UPPER TRUNK SUPPORT (MODELS 6C.1 & 6C.2)

    The Universal Upper Trunk Support, models 6C.1 and 6C.2, are tricycle back support accessories for children with poor upper trunk balance designed to fit most child tricycles including those with vertical and horizontal frames. Features include a height adjustable Plastazote covered back pad with fabric chest positioning belt, and a mounting bracket.     The Upper Trunk Support (UTS) model 6.1 is a tricycle back support accessory with mounting bracket and positioning belt designed for use with trikes models 6A.1 to 6A.3 and 6B.1 to 6B.3, also by Consumer Care Products Inc. 36. WHEELCHAIR HEEL LOOPS (MODELS 10A & 10B)

    Wheelchair Heel Loops (models 10A and 10B) are designed to facilitate foot positioning and to prevent the feet from slipping off the foot rests. The devices are easy to clean and stain resistant. Model 10A ($8) is made of polyethylene, a semi-rigid plastic. Model 10AV ($8) is made of extruded vinyl which retains its shape and does not freeze or become dysfunctional when dirty. Model 10AV.1 ($26) is made of extruded vinyl with 1-inch wide cushioned ankle straps, adjustment via hook and loop fastener and/or D ring assembly. Model 10BV.1 ($31) is the same as Model 10AV.1, but is 4 inches high. Model 10B ($17) are high-back sculptured cut and made of polyethelene. Model 10BV ($14) is a high-back extruded vinyl heel loop with sculptured cut. 37. WING SELF-STORING TABLET ARM TRAY

    The Wing Self-Storing Tablet Arm Tray is a swing-away lapboard for wheelchairs and powered wheelchairs and 3-wheeled scooters. The tray is made of clear polycarbonate plastic, and has a pencil/spill trough plus a rim along the outer edge and a slide control. When in a stored position, the tray allows the user unobstructed access to the wheels of the chair. An adjustable, 3-directional hinge and the telescoping arm permit the tray to flip up or down and slide back and forth. Model 11H.1 is the standard tray described above; Model 11H.1A is the same as the standard but is covered with naugahyde, has a 1-inch thick cushioned surface, and no rim. Model 11H.1B is the same as the standard model, but is made of 1/2-inch thick 9-ply Baltic birchwood and includes an ABS plastic rim. DIMENSIONS: Tray is 12 x 19 inches; rim is 5/8 inches high.
