  1. DIRECT EAR Picture of DIRECT EAR

    Direct Ear is a personal amplification system designed for home or public use in specially equipped facilities such as theaters or places of worship by individuals with hearing disabilities. The system includes a lightweight wireless audio headset, a transmitter/charger, audio feed cable, a power cable, an output jack for hearing aids, an RCA adapter, and an owner's manual. The system "links" directly to a television or other entertainment source or a sound system by means of infrared signals. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Infrared wave length 950 nm; modulation, FM; carrier frequency, 95 kHz; output jack, 2.5 mm micro jack; frequency response, 30 - 18,000 Hz; distortion, typ. 1%; S/N ratio, typ. 65 65 dB(A). POWER: Uses a rechargeable battery; two batteries and a charger are included . Battery operation time/per charge is approximately 10 hours. OPTIONS: Headsets and receivers are sold separately with or without the output jack. WEIGHT: The headset weighs 1.4 ounces and the battery charger weighs 5.7 ounces. WARRANTY: One year.
