MAB Community Services (formerly Massachusetts Association for the Blind and VISION Community Services)

Founded in 1903, MAB Community Services (formerly Massachusetts Association for the Blind) has for a century provided programs for individuals who are blind or visually impaired, and has broadened its scope of services to include programs for adolescents with acquired brain injuries and adults with mental retardation. Today, MAB helps more than 5,000 individuals gain the skills and spirit of independent living through programs that focus on rehabilitation, education, capacity building and access.

  1. FOLDING LIGHTED MAGNIFIER

    The Folding Lighted Magnifier is a folding pocket magnifier with a light for individuals with low vision. The main reading lens magnifies two times and has a small circular inset that magnifies four times. It has a built in light and a folding handle that swings in and out for convenience. It comes with a protective storage handle.

  2. HANDS FREE PAGE MAGNIFIER WITH LEG STAND

    Hands Free Page Magnifier with Leg Stand is designed for individuals with low vision. The legs provide distance for correct focus of a seven by ten inch area. An adjustable neck cord is included.

  3. SNAKES AND LADDERS (MODEL G146)

    Snakes and Ladders, model G146, is a tactile board game for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This game of chance is appropriate for the whole family. It includes brightly colored tactile board and pieces.

  4. SUPREME LOW VISION CARDS

    Supreme Low Vision Playing Cards are designed with large easy to read numbers for individuals who are visually disabled. These playing cards are plastic-coated so they are durable. DIMENSIONS: Numerals measure 1.5 inches high.
