  1. 3R80 PROSTHETIC KNEE Picture of 3R80 PROSTHETIC KNEE

    The 3R80 Prosthetic Knee is a knee prosthesis designed for use by individuals with lower extremity amputation. This knee's rotary hydraulic responds to ground reaction forces during the stance phase of gait. It utilizes a high hydraulic resistance to prevent involuntary flexion of the knee. This stance phase control is advantageous on uneven surfaces, slopes, and when walking down stairs. The knee has four optimized adjustment options for stance phase and swing phase control. Flexion and extension resistance can be adjusted independently. Optimal adjustment values for stance phase damping and sensitivity are achieved by gradually turning the adjustment rings. An extra spring can be integrated into the knee to increase extension assist force. The knee comes with the extra spring, an adjustment tool, and the required tube adapter. CAPACITY: 275 pounds. WEIGHT: 42 ounces.

  2. ADJUSTABLE BACK

    The Adjustable Back is a molded plastic backshell to fit 16, 18 or 20 inch width wheelchairs. The Back ($238) is two inches narrower than the wheelchair frame to fit between back uprights. It mounts to the wheelchair with an adjustable system which allows three inches of height adjustment and angle adjustment from upright to 15 degrees of recline. Mounting hardware ($266) is available to fit 3/4 inch, 7/8 inch, or 1 inch diameter frame tubing. It is easily removeable from the chair by retracting spring mounted pins. The Back is 30 inches high but can be trimmed to shorter heights. It is available in straight or kyphotic configuration. Molded polyurethane foam cushions ($84 to $25 each) fit into the backshell in various combinations, with 3 inch, 6 inch, 8 inch, 10 inch, and 15 inch flat and contoured sections.

  3. ARMREST CUSHIONS (MODELS 436A4 & 436A5 SERIES) & CHANNEL ARMREST (MODELS 436A2 & 436A3)

    The Armrest Cushions, models 436A4 and 436A4 series ($63 to $21), and the Channel Armrest, models 436A2 and 436A3 ($35 to $32), consist of steel reinforced armrests, injection molded with self skinning foam. Straight armrests, and desk or full length sizes are molded to cradle the arm for support. The Channel interchangeable armrest is molded to cradle the elbow and arm with several different hand pads available. The Cushions can be mounted directly to standard wheelchair arms or used with the 436F1 armrest fixture (see separate entry).

    The Axtion Foot, model 1E56, is a prosthetic foot designed for use by individuals with lower extremity amputation. Made from urethane and carbon, it is a lightweight high function foot for active users. Features include a dynamic heel, a pyramid with an integrated elastomer wedge, and a long carbon fiber toe lever. SIZES: 22 to 31. DIMENSIONS: Profile is 2 1/8 inches. The heel is 0.5-inch high.   5. BALL RATCHET SET

    The Ball Ratchet Set is a seating hardware allowing angle adjustment in 5 degree increments. It is made of cast and heat treated alloy steel. It can be bolted or welded inside 7/8 inch diameter by 18 gauge round tubing. The Set is useful for legrests, seat to back attachments, and other seating applications. It is available in chromed or unchromed.

  6. BOLSTER THORACIC SUPPORTS

    The Bolster Thoracic Supports are straight lateral trunk supports designed for use in conjunction with the Otto Bock MOSS II seating systems (see separate entries). Two sizes of polyurethane foam pads ($20 to $18) slide over straight or 1 or 2 inch offset metal fixtures which mount to the sides of aluminum channel back frames ($29.25). They are adjustable vertically. They are available with strap kits which attach with velcro or buckle closures to the front of pads for anterior trunk support. COLOR: Black, maroon or gray.

  7. BTS / STS CUSTOM FIXTURES & BENDING TOOL

    The BTS/STS Custom Fixtures and Bending Tool are a ball and rod fixture for STS lateral trunk support or slim line fixture for BTS lateral trunk support. They have an 18 inch rod which can be custom bent and cut. The bending tool may be clamped in a vice and used to shape the rods.

    The Busy Bee Pediatric Postural Walker is an adjustable child's walker designed for use by children with lower extremity, mobility, neurological, or walking disabilities. This lightweight walker encourages active postural control during standing and walking. Its torsional stiffness provides objective and and subjective stability. The walker is equipped with height-adjustable handles and solid rubber wheels for indoor and outdoor use. Noise-free external locks on the rear wheels prevent inadvertant backward movement.     The Channel Armrest Fixture, model 436F1, is a pivoting, elevating armrest designed to be attached to the arm of a wheelchair with a fitted clamp. The swivel configuration allows the armrest to turn on its horizontal and vertical axis for more comfortable positioning. It can also be used to mount and position hand control units for powered wheelchairs.

    The C-Leg, model 3C100, is a microprocessor-controlled prosthetic knee designed for use by individuals with lower extremity amputation. For stability, the knee's microprocessors control the knee's hydraulic function 50 times a second. The maxium flexion angle is 125 degrees. The knee is available in standard and knee-disarticulation versions. OPTIONS: Feet approved for use with the C-Leg are models 1D25, 1A30, and 1D10; C-Walk (model 1C40); LuXon Max (model 1E40); Lo Rider (mode 1E57); and the LuXon Journey (model 1E44).     The Cloud Cushion is a foam wheelchair cushion designed for use by individuals at risk for pressure sores or ulcers. The Cloud Cushion offers protection and stability in a lightweight, low-profile design. It produces acceptable levels of pressure distribution, eliminating the risk of bottoming out and the potential for failures due to punctures or leaks. The cushion corrects to automatically adjust to the dynamic conditions that occur within the seating environment. The Lycra Cel-Pak is installed with appropriate quantity of Floam cells, each color coded for easy replacement. It includes a durable foam base and incontinent resistant protective outside cover. OPTIONS: Accessories include a solid seat insert, special moisture resistance treatment, and a plywood insert which fits into the cushion cover to span the wheelchair sling seat. Additional cells are available for customization: Red cells for large volume, black cells for medium volume, and blue cells for low volume.   12. DROP SEAT BASE AND HARDWARE

    The Drop Seat Base ($42.50) and Hardware ($169) are a combination solid seat insert and adjustable hook hardware designed to fit 7/8 or 1 inch diameter wheelchair seat rails. Gravity hook assemblies allow automatic locking of the seat base onto the frame. It requires cutting of the plate to accommodate wheelchair cross-frame tubes, and drilling to mount hardware in appropriate locations.

    The Eco-Buggy, model 3210, is a stroller designed for use by children with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities who are able to remain upright without upper-body positioning aids. FRAME (HxLxW): 11.5 x 45 x 16.5 inches when folded. The frame is powder-coated aluminum with a snap-on under-frame storage bag. SEAT (LxW): 11.8 x 13.75 inches. The seat depth can be adjusted from 11.8 to 14 inches to accommodate growth. The backrest reclines and has a height of 21 5/8 inches. A pelvic positioning belt is included.     The Flip2Sit is a youth positioning chair designed for use by children with neurological or physical disabilities. This chair provides stable support while the child is sitting at the table and as a positioning seat for play once the removable back is detached and the chair is flipped over. The contoured latex-free seat is designed to help improve posture, sitting balance, and other functional abilities. Features include a two-way belt for extra hip stability, anti-slip pads to reduce movement, and adjustable straps to secure the seat to a school or kitchen chair. DIMENSIONS(DxW): 9.5 x 10 inches. The seat back is 12 inches high on one side and 10.5 inches on the other. The seat height is 4 inches on one side and 3 inches on the other. The seat inclination is level on one side and tilts at a 5 degree angle on the other.

  15. FOOTREST RECEPTACLE AND PADS

    The Footrest Receptacle and Pads is a foot support made of a vacuum formed plastic shell covered with molded foam, and mounts to a standard wheelchair footrest or Otto Bock Fullcare Orthotic Seating or MOSS II systems. Each footrest receptacle ($83.75) and pad ($50.25) is ordered separately. DIMENSIONS (HxWxL): Large is 13 x 10 x 6 inches; Medium is 10 x 10 x 5 inches (outside dimensions). COLOR: Black and grey.

  16. HEAD REST SUPPORTS (MODELS 430C1, 430C2, 430H1, 430H10, 430N1 SERIES)

    The Head Rest Supports are headrests and neckrests made from molded, contoured foam, and reinforced with flexible steel. They are available in large headrest, small headrest, combination headrest and neckrest, large neckrest, small neckrest, and lateral control. They can be modified as needed by bending the steel insert to the desired shape.

  17. HEADREST / NECKREST HARDWARE: HARDBACK HEADREST HARDWARE (MODELS 430F7, 430F2, 430F6, & 430F5) & SLING BACK HARDWARE (MODEL 446K1)

    The Headrest and Neckrest Hardware, consisting of Hardback Headrest Hardware and the Sling Back Hardware, is a support system designed to attach Otto Bock headrests and neckrests to the back of a wheelchair. Model 430F7 has two ball joints for multi directional adjustability, including horizontal and vertical planes, for hard or rigid seat backs. Model 446K1 has attachment hardware for wheelchair frame of sling backs.

  18. INTERFACE HARDWARE (MODELS 442F2 & 442F1)

    The Interface Hardware, models 442F2 and 442F1, is seating hardware designed to allow mounting of Otto Bock seating systems into Maclaren or Pogon strollers or wheelchairs ranging from 10 to 18 inches wide. A spring-loaded plunger mechanism allows quick removal of the seat for transfer into another base or for transporting. Custom interfaces are available to accommodate mounting systems on most power bases and scooters.

  19. KIMBA PEDIATRIC TILT-IN-SPACE MOBILITY SYSTEM

    The Kimba Pediatric Tilt-in-Space Mobility System is a child's tilt-in-space wheelchair or stroller designed for use by children with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities. FRAME: Available in Size I (small/medium base) or Size II (large base). The frame color is silver - metallic. The chair ncludes an integrated shock absorption system, adjustable to the childÆs weight. Other features include a sun canopy with attendant window, height-adjustable handlebars, trigger-activated one-step folding, and an underframe storage bag. SEAT (LxW): 5.75 to 12.5 x 6 to 10.25 inches (Size I) or 8.75 x 15.5 x 8 x 13 inches (Size II). Reversible seat position enables the child to face the caregiver. Seat back height is adjustable from 9.5 to 16.75 inches (Size I) or 11.5 to 20.5 inches (Size II) and the back reclines from 90 to 140 degrees on both sizes. The trigger activated tilt-in-space seat is infinitely adjustable within its ranges (anterior and posterior tilt of 35 degrees). UPHOLSTERY: Little Masn Blue (blue with white stars) or Paint (gray with white checks and red and yellow stars). ARMRESTS: Armrest height adjusts from 3.5 to 5.5 inches (Size I) or 5.75 to 7.75 inches (Size II). CASTERS: Front wheel diameter is 6.5 inches for both sizes. WHEELS: Rear wheel diameter is 9.5 inches on both sizes. FOOTRESTS: Dorsi/plantar flexion adjustable footplate with a vertical adjustment of 9 to 15.5 inches for both sizes.   20. LEGREST PAD (MODELS 440P1 & 440P2)

    The Legrest Pad is an injection molded, steel reinforced calf trough with foam padding. It has an elliptical shape, curved to fit the natural contour of the leg. It attaches to the footrest support with fitted clamps. Adapter plates are available for some makes of wheelchairs. These can be used with Side Thoracic Support hardware.

  21. LISA PEDIATRIC POSTURAL MOBILITY SYSTEM (MODELS 3207 & 3208)

    The Lisa Pediatric Postural Mobility System is a stroller designed for use by children with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities. FRAME (HxLxW): Model 3207 is 13 x 41 x 11 inches when folded; model 3208 is 17 x 42 x 16 inches when folded. The frame is Saturn Blue Metallic. SEAT (LxW): Model 3207 is 10, 12, or 14 x 12 inches without upholstery and model 3208 is 12, 14, or 16 x 14 inches without upholstery. Upholstery adds two inches to width. The seat width may be reduced using width-reduction pads. The seat and back are made of fiber-filled padding with nylon covering. For increased support, plastic inserts are sewn into the back upholstery. The stroller is also growth adjustable. The back height is 21 inches for model 3207 (27 inches with extension) or 23 inches for model 3208 (29.5 inches with extension). The reclining backrest can be set at any angle between 90 and 130 degrees. Available accessories include a lap belt and chest belt, grab rail with padding, abduction block, combined sun/rain visor, and rain visor with leg cover. UPHOLSTERY: Upholstery is Indio blue, and comes with a padded blue nylon cover. CASTERS: Tire diameter on front casters is 6 inches on model 3207 or 7 inches on model 3208.     The Modular Seat and Back Cushions are designed to work with custom systems or replace standard wheelchair upholstery. The cushions ($68 and up) are made of foam, with an easy to clean skin surface. The back pads ($23 and up) may be installed permanently with glue, attached with velcro, or bolted to the seats with hardware.

  23. MOSS LAP TRAY

    The Moss Lap Tray is a molded plastic lapboard designed to mount to Otto Bock MOSS II seating system armrests (see separate entry) with the U-shaped aluminum frame. Fits 9.5, 11.5, 13.5, 16, and 18 inch seating systems.

    MyoBoy, model 757M11, is an assessment and training system designed for use by individuals with upper extremity amputation who are being fitted for an Otto Bock myoelectric prosthetic hand (see entry). The system enables a prosthetist to conduct realistic tests of muscle tension and gather data that can be used to adjust the electrodes on the myoelectric hand. The system documents the individual's muscle signal strength so the prosthetist can track results and print data sheets. The included MyoSoft software CD has a muscle training and exercise game program that helps the individual to learn the needed contraction of each muscle group. The system consists of a hardware unit, a USB cable, a grounding cable, a MyoSoft software CD, a USB driver CD, a carrying case, an electrode adapter, an electrode wristband, a screwdriver, and an instruction guide and user‘s manual. OPTIONS: Test adapter, model 757P23, allowing the MyoBoy hardware to be connected directly to the individual's prosthesis in use so malfunctions can be found and removed. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows 98, ME, 2000 with Service Pack 3, or XP with Service Pack 1 operating system; Pentium 500 megaHertz (MHz) processor; 64 megabytes (MB) RAM; 1 free serial or USB port; 15 MB free hard disk space.

    The Otto Bock Electric Wrist Rotator, model 10S17, is an electronic wrist rotator designed for use by individuals with upper extremity amputation. This device provides electrical rotation of the Otto Bock System Electric Hand or Greifer. The 6- or 7.2-volt device is controlled electrically with the model 13E205 MyoRotronic controller (see separate entry).

    The Otto Bock MyoRotronic, model 13E205, is a myoelectronic wrist controller designed for use by individuals with upper extremity amputation. This device is for electrical control of the model 10S17 Electric Wrist Rotator with 13E183 Buzzer. It enables electrical pronation and supination as well as opening and closing of the hand with one or two 13E200/13E202/13E68 MyoBock Electrodes or a combination of one 13E200/13E202 Electrode and a 9X50/9X52 Linear Transducer. The unit has five different programs for adaptation to the user. Four of the five programs also allow proportional pronation and supination in addition to the digital rotation control. The desired program is set using the 757T13 MyoSelect. The unit can be operated in combination with all Otto Bock System Electric Hands and System Electric Greifers that are equipped with Quick Disconnect Wrist. In operation, every switchover between System Electric Hand or System Electric Greifer and Electric Wrist Rotator is indicated by brief vibration of the Electric Wrist Rotator (except in programs 1 and 4).

    The Otto-Bock Changing Table is a wall mounted changing table designed for use with children with mobility or severe physical disabilities. The frame of this stretcher-style changing table is covered with HT material. It mounts to the wall and is supported by two self-locking legs. The unit folds up or down against the wall when not in use, and a wall clamp is included to secure it when folded up against the wall. COLOR: The frame is dark brown, and the table is white.

  28. PARAGOLFER Picture of PARAGOLFER

    The ParaGolfer is a powered standup wheelchair designed to enable people with mobility and lower extremity disabilities and spinal cord injury to play golf. This all-terrain powered chair features both motorized propulsion and motorized standing. The user can move from a seated to a standing position with power assistance, and can drive the unit and move about while either in a seated or standing position. The ParaGolfer also can be used for other sports that require standing (such as archery or some types of fishing) or for everyday activities. FRAME (HxLxW): (32-35) x 59 (driving forward) x 35 inches. The turning radius is 75 inches. A golf bag holder is included CONTROLS: Joystick controls for moving and speed, with buttons controlling standing and backrest raising and lowering. FWD: Front wheel drive. SEAT (DxW): 14.2 to 20.1 x 18.1 inches. The seat height is adjustable from 20 to 26.4 inches. The back height is adjustable from 11 to 15 inches. The seat also has power recline capability. A padded strap fastens around the user's abdomen to stabilize the user when standing. UPHOLSTERY: Padded black nylon upholstery. The tautness of the seat and backrest upholstery can be adjusted. ARMRESTS (HxL): 6 (from the seat) x 10 inches. The adjustable armrests fold down when standing. WHEELS: Two 16-inch fixed front wheels and one 10-inch rear wheel that steers the chair. FOOTRESTS: Adjustable legrests are 16.9 to 22.8 inches long. A tibial support fastens in front of the knees, and the feet rest on an adjustable aluminum footplate.     The ProContour ComforT is an air floatation seat cushion designed for use by individuals with severe physical, mobility, or lower extremity disabilities, pressure sores and/or ulcers, and spinal cord injuries. The cushion reduces seat interface temperature, helping to avoid tissue maceration, and pressure sores. As the individual seated on the cushion moves, the cushion adjusts itself to eliminate pressure peaks and provide even, stable support. The seat absorbs excess heat from the user, thus creating a cooler seat interface. SIZES: The ComforT is avalable in nine standard sizes and an array of special order sizes. DIMENSIONS: Standard cushions are available in 14 x 14 inches, 14 x 16 inches, 16 x 16 inches, 17 x 18 inches, 18 x 16 inches, 18 x 18 inches, 20 x 16 inches, and 20 x 18 inches.

    Quicklift II is a pediatric hydraulic bath lift designed for use by caregivers of children with lower extremity, neurological, or severe physical disabilities. It is a portable, lightweight lifting device that helps caregivers lower and lift a child in and out of the bathtub. To use the device, it is placed in the tub, where suction cups hold it in place while a hydraulic cylinder raises and lowers the frame. It accommodates the Robby bathing support (see separate entry). The lift has a growth-adjustable design, has side flaps to provide stability and protect arms and hands from being pinched, and scissor folds for storage.     Robby Bathing Support is a child's bath support designed for use by children with neurological and severe physical disabilities. The frame is made of telescoping tubes that allow the hip, knee, neck, and head support areas to be adjusted separately to accommodate various sitting and lying positions. The seat area and back length can be adjusted as the child grows. The upper mesh section can be removed for hair washing. Lower leg positioning straps are included.     SensorHand Speed is a myoelectric prosthetic hand designed for use by individuals with upper extremity amputation. The hand can be opened and closed at speeds from 15 to 300 millimeters per second. To keep held objects from slipping, an AutoGrasp feature monitors the hand's grip force and changes the grip as needed. AutoGrasp can also be turned off. The hand comes with either a Lamination Ring or a Quick Disconnect Wrist for terminal device changes. A slip-clutch allows the user to release the hand quickly in an emergency. POWER: Uses 6 or 7.2 volts. DIMENSIONS: Opening width is 100 millimeters. Left and right, 7.25, 7.75, or 8.25 inches. WEIGHT: Inner hand is 460 grams.

  34. SHERPA TILT-IN-SPACE MOBILITY BASE

    The Sherpa Tilt-in-Space Mobility System is a child's tilt-in-space wheelchair base designed for use by children with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury. FRAME (HxLxW): 25.5 inches with backrest folded down x 19 inches without footrests (29.5 inches with footrests) x seat width + 7 inches. The powder-coated aluminum frame has a 50-degree tilt range. A built-in scale enables replication of the exact angle of tilt. Other features include height-adjustable, ratcheted joint push bars and standard anti-tip tubes. Cobolt blue or anthracite metallic gray are standard frame colors; 14 optional frame colors are also available. SEAT (LxW): 17 to 21 x 14, 16, 18, or 20 inches. The seat length is adjustable. The back angle adjustment from 90 to 130 degrees can be set according to a hole pattern. CUSHION: Available with Otto Bock (OBSS) ProContour Custom Cushions or the NuTec Custom Planar Seating System. ARMRESTS: Seat-mounted, T-style height-adjustable armrests. BRAKES: Self-adjusting attendant foot brake. CASTERS: 7-inch solid EVA rubber casters. WHEELS: 12-inch solid EVA rubber rear wheels. FOOTRESTS: Four footrest style options. CAPACITY: 265 pounds. WEIGHT: The 18-inch-wide frame weighs 40 pounds, including standard footrests and anti-tips. WARRANTY: The manufacturer warrants the frame against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the original purchase. The expected life of this frame is 5 years. The manufacturer also warrant all parts and components against defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years from the date of first consumer purchase. DELIVERY TIME: Optional frame colors require an extra four weeks for delivery.

  35. SHOWER STRETCHER / CHANGING TABLE

    The Otto-Bock Shower Stretcher / Changing Table is a wall-mounted shower stretcher and changing table designed for use by individuals with mobility or severe physical disabilities. The frame is covered with HT material. Features include an adjustable backrest, wall mounting, and two self-locking legs for support. The unit folds up or down against the wall when not in use, and a wall clamp is included to secure it when folded up against the wall. A plastic water receiver with a flexible drain is also included. OPTIONS: Removable and hinged side rails with plastic clamps are available. DIMENSIONS: The plastic water receiver is 34 inches long and has an inner diameter of 1.25 inches and an outer diameter of 1.75 inches. COLOR: White.

  36. SIDE THORACIC SUPPORT AND HARDWARE (MODELS 434P1, 434F1, 434F2, & 434F3)

    The Side Thoracic Support and Hardware is a trunk support pad with mounting hardware for either lateral or side support designed for wheelchair users. An extruded aluminum clamp attaches to the back frame of the wheelchair. It has a passive locking system which may be disengaged, and allows the pad to swing away for easy transfer. Contoured support pads are injection molded foam with semi-flexible steel reinforcement, and can be shaped as needed. Hardware may be ordered for the left or right side. SIZES: The thoracic pads are available in Small, Medium, and Large. Hardware is available to fit 3/4, 7/8 and 1-inch diameter back uprights. COLOR: Available in black, maroon or grey.

    The Skippi and Skippi Plus are child's powered wheelchairs designed for use by children with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities, cerebral palsy, or spinal cord injury. Adjustable and designed to grow with the child, it has multiple configuration options, and it was design to have a low profile and be compact and maneuverable. FRAME (WxL): 22.4 x 27.6 (without leg rests) or 33.5 (with leg rests) inches. It has a turning radius of 21.7 inches, and the ground clearance is 66 millimeters (mm). Standard features include rear anti-tip wheels; integrated tie-down anchor points; detachable bumper bar; adjustable push handles; lap tray. Front and rear driving lights are optional. The Skippi can be disassembled to fit in the trunk of a car. Frame color is either blue or red. RWD: The Skippi has rear wheel drive. CONTROLS: A joystick controller on either armrest with drive-away lock is standard. Other control options include sip and puff and an ASL head array, and an attendant control is available. SEAT (WxD):(10 to 15) x (11.8 to 14.6) inches. Seat-to-floor height is 17 inches. The back width is 11.8 inches, and the available back heights are 13.7, 15.7, 16.5, 17.3 and 18 inches. Manual backrest recline (0 to 30 degrees) is standard. Seat inclination is manually adjustable (-6, 3 or 12 degrees), and it comes with a lap belt. Options include manual or power tilt-in-space recline seating mechanism (0 to 25 degrees inclination); power backrest recline (0 to 25 degrees); and power seat elevation. The Skippi Plus includes all power options. ARMRESTS: Height adjustable armrests with side panels. CASTERS: 8-inch solid front swivel casters. WHEELS: 12-inch drive wheels with flat-free inserts. FOOTRESTS: Individual, swing-away footrests with composite footplate. POWER: Includes two removable, self-contained 12 volt, 32 Ah U1 gel batteries with battery charger. Chair can be pushed when power is disengaged. SPEEDS: 4.5 miles per hour; range of 19 miles. CAPACITY: 110 pounds. WEIGHT: 150 pounds.

  38. STERNAL SUPPORT SYSTEM

    The Sternal Support System consists of sternal support pads, available in two sizes for children and two sizes for adults. They are made of self-skinning urethane foam. The small and medium sizes are a broad flat pad, the intermediate and large sizes is extended into an X configuration. The harness strap attaches four corners of the pads to the four corners of the back of the wheelchair. The strap kit is $13 to $8.75; the pads are $30.50. DIMENSIONS (WxH): The Child size is 6 x 3.781 inches; Small Adult is 7.625 x 5.437 inches; and the Adult size is 11.735 x 11.875 inches.

    The Transcarpal Hand DMC (Dynamic Mode Control) Plus, model 8E44, is a myoelectric prosthetic hand designed for use by individuals with upper extremity disabilities. Grip speed is variable from 15 to 130 millimeters per second. The high maximum grip speed and the balance of grip force and speed allow the user to experience more physiological gripping. The control contains both the original DMC control and the DMC plus mode, which includes a virtual hand switch. After gripping once with maximum grip force, a slightly higher signal is required to open the hand. This improves gripping security and facilitates the holding of such things as eating utensils.

  40. WEB SEAT FRAME

    The Web Seat Frame is a detachable seat frame with elastic webbing that can be substituted for sling upholstery in a 16 or 18 inch wide wheelchair. The Frame is easily removed for folding the chair. It supports a variety of polyurethane integral skin foam cushions, which clip onto the frame and remove for cleaning.
