3. BUDDY TOILET SEAT

Designed to grow with children ages 18 months to 6 years, the basic unit includes a seat belt, a height- and depth-adjustable foam back support with a padded security strap, a built-in abductor/splash guard, an attachment bracket for standard toilets, and a height-adjustable footrest. The attachment bracket does not interfere with the use of the regular toilet seat, and it allows for easy removal and replacement of the Buddy Seat as needed. OPTIONS: Height- and depth-adjustable tray, foot plate straps, a mobile base with four locking casters and a removable commode bowl, a multi-adjustable headrest, and extra mounting brackets to permit use of the unit in more than one bathroom. DIMENSIONS: The height from the seat surface to the top of the back support adjusts from 12 to 16.5 inches, the sitting area is 11 inches wide, the seat depth adjusts from 9 to 13 inches, and the foot drop adjusts from 5 to 12 inches. Each Jenna Base comes equipped with mounting hardware for the Snug Seat 2. Adapter kits for the Snug Seat 1 and custom seating inserts are available ($100 each). WHEELS: 8 x 2 inch pneumatic front casters and 20 x 1.75 inch pneumatic rear wheels are standard; solid front tires with flat free inserts on rear tires are optional ($90). The chair is made of steel and aluminum construction with a molded, textured polypropylene seat. The chair has 22 inch wheels with handrims. Optional accessories for the chair include a safety strap, hemiplegic armrest, toilet pan, foot supports, safety crossbar, and a calf support. DIMENSIONS: Overall dimensions are 35 x 25 x 43 inches; seat dimensions are 19 x 17 x 22 inches with a 9-inch diameter cutout for toilet care. Will clear toilets up to 19 inches high and 18 inches wide.

8. NOVA WALKER

FRAME:The green heavy-duty steel walker has independently adjustable handles with 360-degree rotation. A dual position basket and a dual-position tray are included. Open, the walker is 27 inches long x 23 inches wide; folded it is 23 x 33 x 11 inches. The handles adjust from 29.5 inches to 39 inches high. It can be used to put on short or long socks, moccasins, or stockings. When putting on suspender belts, two stocking aides are used as a connector. All the surface areas are made of durable, easy to clean materials. DIMENSIONS: Available in a 24-inch model and a 16- inch model. WEIGHT: The 24 inch version weighs 146 grams.

15. SWINGER

Meets all U.S. Government requirements for child restraint systems. Babies are zipped into sleeping bag in the carrycot. Sleeping bag is anchored to carrycot by being zipped to fabric attached directly to shell. Carrycot is anchored to plastic shell by a clamp on the bottom. Shell is then anchored to seat using the standard seat belts from two seating positions in back seat of car.

16. UNIVERSAL GRIP

It is designed to make everyday life easier for individuals with reduced sensation in their arms and hands. The handle can be held with both hands and is angled to allow sufficient room for knuckles. The spikes are six-sided to make it easier to be grasped and can be used in a large number of applications. The grasping area is generously sizedto cope with larger turns. 17. ZEBRA PUSH-CHAIR

It is available as a complete unit with a thickly padded, firm seat and back, or may be used with the purchaser's own specialized seating mounted in the frame. The chair has a seven-position, reclining back, and moveable cross bars to allow repositioning of the seat height and orientation in space. The entire stroller folds to transport or storage. FRAME: Two frame widths are offered. The narrow frame has a width of 13 inches, and may easily be converted with the change of crossbars and handle assembly to the standard size frame size of 15 inches. The frame is made of 7/8-inch steel tubing, powder coated in a silver hammertone finish. SEAT: May be changed to respond to growth. Seat and backs come in widths of 10, 12, and 14 inches. 1. AKTIVA REACHERS

   --- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 06/2010) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Aktiva Reachers are designed for use by individuals with reduced arm and hand strength and mobility. The handle is angled to make use of existing hand strength and to permit an effective grip in a variety of situations. Activating the U-shaped gripping jaws requires minimal strength and the jaws are adapted for both precision gripping of small items and securing larger items. The gripping surface is covered in resilient rubber for secure gripping and to reduce the amount of force required. The jaws are also adjustable in two positions and can be used vertically or horizontally without requiring the user to turn his/her arm. A finger support on the trigger also acts as a suspension hook. DIMENSIONS: Available in 18 or 27 inches long.
