1. HIGH DENSITY MATS

   High Density Mats are therapy, exercise, and rest mats designed for therapeutic applications. The mats have a foam base measuring 2-inches thick for a good cushioning effect and no bottoming out. The foam is covered with a waterproof and cleanable vinyl cover. DIMENSIONS: 4 x 6 feet, 4 x 7 feet, 5 x 7 feet, and 6 x 8 feet.

2. ROLLS

   The Rolls are therapy foam shapes designed for positioning and/or balance training. These cylindrical cushions are made of high-density foam with a waterproof and cleanable vinyl cover. DIMENSIONS: Nine different sizes are available, measuring 7 x 17 inches, 5 x 20 or 22 inches, 8 x 20 or 36 inches, 6 x 24 inches, 5.5 x 20 inches, and 10 or 12 x 36 inches.

3. SIDELYER STRAP, H-STRAPS, & PELVIC STRAP

   The Sidelyer Strap, H-Strap, and Pelvic Strap are restraint and positioning belts designed for use in conjunction with the large foam positioning shapes by the manufacturer (see separate entries). The straps are fabricated of Evazote foam for cushioning ithout bottoming out. The Sidelyer Strap is designed to support the body in proper alignment when positioned on its side. It comes in Adult and Child models, both available with a hole for a gastrostomy tube. The H-Straps form a harness and are used to keep the body aligned in the wheelchair. This strap has a vinyl covering, webbing, and velcro closures for making fitting adjustments. The pelvic strap is attached to the last screw hole in the seat back of a wheelchair, goes around the user's hips, and attaches to itself with velcro.

4. SIX PIECE MODULAR POSITIONING SET

   The Six Piece Modular Positioning Set consists of foam positioning blocks designed to create individualized occupational and physical therapy treatment programs for persons with varying disabilities. The design accommodates numerous positions within the developmental sequence. The pieces are vinyl-covered, and therefore waterproof and cleanable with soap and water. The set consists of interchangeable rectangles, squares, and triangles (wedges). All sets come with four straps included. SIZES: Three sets are available for Infants (model 13-041, $191), Children (model 13-013, $299), and Adults (model 13-040, $527).

5. THIRTEEN PIECE MODULAR POSITIONING SET (MODEL 13-011)

   The Thirteen Piece Modular Positioning Set, model 13-011, is a set of large foam shapes designed to be used interchangeably and in combination to position children and adults for therapy sessions, play or work activities, in a wheelchair, or for nighttime positioning. The pieces are made of high-density foam cover with waterproof and cleanable vinyl. The set includes cylindrical rolls and 8 rectangles in a variety of sizes. DIMENSIONS: Rolls are 7 x 7 inches, 5 x 20 inches, 8 x 20 inches, 5 x 5 inches, and 5.5 x 22 inches. Five rectangles are 2 x 8 x 15 inches; two are 2 x 11 x 16 inches, and one is 2 x 12 x 15 inches.

6. WAM WRAP AROUND MAT (MODEL 13-010)

   The WAM Wrap Around Mat is a therapy mat designed to promote relaxation in a therapeutic setting or as a modality to assist in controlling individuals with aggressive behaviors. The mat produces a neutral heat when individuals with increased muscle tone are wrapped in the mat and gently rocked, resulting in muscle relaxation and vestibular stimulation. As a restraint the WAM may be used for behavior control and to prevent self-abusive injuries or injuries to others. The WAM is available with an optional pillow (no. 13-036, $66 extra) or with 3 external straps (no. 13-069, $78 extra). DIMENSIONS: 60 x 42 inches.

7. WEDGE

   The Wedge is a body positioner designed to support the body for various activities in prone, supine or sitting positions, and can also be used for elevating the lower extremities in cases of edema. It is made of high-density foam with a washable, waterproof vinyl cover. DIMENSIONS: A variety of models are available with heights between 4 and 12 inches, lengths of 22 to 40 inches, and widths of 20 to 24 inches.
