  1. HANDWRITER

--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 1/2009) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Handwriter OneStep Form Manager is a form processor program which allows the user to fill out a pre-printed form with a stylus and create a computer file at the same time. The user can design the forms to be mapped onto the Handwriter tablet. Forms must be completed on the tablet in upper case block printing using the special stylus. When a form is complete the program saves the responses as a computer file. Incorrect responses can be changed by writing the new response directly over the old one. The Handwriter is compatible with IBM computers and the following application programs: dBase III PLUS, Multiplan, and R: BASE. There is also a Write-On Lotus 1-2-3 software driver available for use with the Handwriter. Contact manufacturer for more information on this option.
