  1. HAVERICH 27 RACING TRICYCLE Picture of HAVERICH 27 RACING TRICYCLE

    The Haverich 27" Racing Tricycle is an adult three-wheeled cycle designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities. The tricycle has features for racing such as 12-speed derailleur gears, hydraulic front brake, front mudguard, lights, and pedals with toe clips and straps.

    The Haverich Handlebar Accessories are attachments for bicycles, tricycles, and tandem cycles. Steering Lock Angle Limiter (##099) restricts steering lock angle; Cane Holders (##040 Single and ##041 Double) allow the rider to affix canes or crutches to the front of the handlebars on either side of the front wheel; Guide Rod (##038) is a metal bar that extends from the vertical backrest pole and allows an adult to help control the direction and speed of a youngster on a cycle; Arm Supports (##002) position and retain lower arms at the handlebar with straps; Auxiliary Handlebar for Manually Handicapped (##056) is a curved bar that attaches to the right and left handles to provide equal distance from the body to the handlebar regardless of steering angle; Vertical Bar Ends (##050) are auxiliary bar ends to provide an alternative grip posture.

    The Haverich Pedal Accessories are pedal attachments for bicycles, tricycles, and tandem cycles. Home Trainer Pedal (##060) has an integral balancing weight and velcro strap; Pedal with Toe Clip and Strap (##011) prevents the rider's foot from slipping off the pedal; Treadle Crank for Disabled (##005 Lft, and ##006 Rt) are stroke adjustable in infinite increments; Crank Shortener (##025) reduces the distance between the seat and pedal, helping to offset unevenly long legs; Foot Rest with Leather Strap (##013) is a platform that attaches to the pedal to position and retain the rider's foot. Straps have buckle closure; Foot Rest with Velcro Straps (##0113) is a platform that attaches to the pedal to position and retain the rider's foot. Straps have velcro closure; Fixed Foot Rest (##014 Lft, and ##015 Rt) are for completely stiff or artificial legs or stiff ankle joints; Foot Rest with Leg Guide (##010) that is a platform with leather straps and buckle closures and a padded calf strap to position and retain the foot and lower leg, preventing equinus. The leg guide is vertically adjustable. This accessory is also available with velcro straps and fasteners (##110).

    Haverich Seat Accessories are bicycle and tricycle accessories that consist of modified seat attachments. Light Moped Seat provides good buttock support due to broad shape; Light Moped Seat (Denfeld, ##034) has a rocker- arm suspension; Moped Seat (##035) is designed for broad-hipped riders; T- shaped Seat Post (##048) allows adjustment of horizontal seat position relative to the handlebars; Leg Harness (##062) attaches to the Standard Backrest and Strap and the front of the seat; Standard Backrest and Strap (##019) consists of a vertical bar that attaches to the back of the seat and has a curved backrest and strap that goes around the riders chest to keep the torso upright; Standard Backrest with Padded Strap (##020) is the same as ##020, but the strap has padding and is broader in terms of width; Wraparound Backrest with Padded Strap (##017) has two vertical bars supporting the backrest and a padded chest strap for stabilization of the torso. The wraparound backrest is vertically adjustable in infinite increments; Shoulder Harness (##039), available only with the wraparound backrest with padded strap, has two straps that connect from the backrest to the chest strap and buckle in front; Hip Pads (##021), only available in conjunction with the wraparound back rest, provide added hip support for persons with severe disabilities. The hip pads are vertically and horizontally adjustable in infinite increments.

  5. HAVERICH SPECIALIZED TRICYCLE

    The Haverich Specialized Tricycle is an adult tricycle for upper extremity amputees and persons with dysmelia. The dysmelia handlebars can be mounted on any of the Haverich tricycle models, and features chin-activated directional indicators and horn. (See separate entries on various tricycle specifications.)

  6. HAVERICH THREE-WHEELER TANDEM 20"

    The Haverich Three-Wheeler Tandem 20" is a three wheel tandem cycle for persons with severe disabilities, blindness, low vision, or dysmelia. Standard equipment on this tandem cycle includes folding front frame, reinforced rear axle, rear wheel mudguards, Torpedo 3-speed free wheel hub with coaster brake, front wheel drum brake, lock, and lights. DIMENSIONS: Minimum distance from seat top to pedal (in bottom position) is 27.5 inches in front, and 24 inches in rear; Overall Width of rear axle is 31 inches; Overall Length is 79 inches. WHEELS: All three wheels are 20 x 2 inches; both rear wheels have 36 reinforced spokes. COLORS: Standard color combinations are light blue/black and red/black. Additional combinations may be special ordered.

  7. HAVERICH THREE-WHEELER TANDEM 26"

    The Haverich Three-Wheeler Tandem 26" is a three wheel tandem cycle for persons with blindness, low vision, severe disabilities, or dysmelia. Standard equipment on the 26-inch three-wheel tandem includes reinforced rear axle, rear wheel mudguards, Torpedo 3-speed free wheel hub with coaster brake, front wheel drum brake, lock, and lights. DIMENSIONS: Minimum distance from seat top to pedal (in bottom position) is 31.5 inches for both the front and rear seats; Overall Width of rear axle is 31 inches; Overall Length is 98.5 inches. WHEELS: All three wheels are 26 x 2.125 x 2 inches; 36 reinforced spokes in each rear wheel. COLORS: The standard color combinations are translucent blue/black and black/violet. Additional combinations may be special ordered.

  8. HAVERICH TRICYCLE BA

    The Haverich Tricycle BA is an arm-powered tricycle for children and adults who have had transverse lesion of the spinal cord, dysmelia, or for lower extremity amputees. The arm-powered drive unit replaces standard handlebars, and foot platforms take the place of foot pedals. The arm- powered drive unit is available on tricycle models 16/16 and upwards. The tricycles feature rigid drive train for forward and reverse riding, front caliper brake, dismantlable rear axle, wraparound backrest with padded chest strap, and steering lock angle limiter. The Torpedo 3-speed free wheel hub with coaster brake may be fitted with the arm-powered drive tricycles, but reversing is then impossible. DIMENSIONS (in inches): 27 w x 47 l (Model 16/16), 31 w x 53 l (Model 20/16), 31 w x 61 l (Model 24/20, Model 26/20), 31 w x 71 l (Model 24" and Model 26").

  9. HAVERICH TRICYCLE MODEL 12/12

    The Haverich Tricycle Model 12/12 is a child tricycle recommended for children ages 1.5 to 3.5 years old who may need upper body support when seated on a cycle and aid in keeping their legs on the pedals. Standard equipment on Model 12/12 has a steering lock angle limiter, rigid drive train for forward and reverse riding, dual front caliper and drum brake, and a parking brake lever. The vertically adjustable handlebars can also be positioned sufficiently forward so that the rider can keep his/her arms stretched and maintain an almost upright posture. Seats can be adjusted so that with the pedal in bottom position the leg is straightened as much as possible at the knee joint. The chosen gear ratios permit even severely disabled persons to ride a tricycle. DIMENSIONS: Minimum distance from seat top to pedal (in bottom position) is 12 inches, upward adjustable in infinite increments; Overall Width is 24.5 inches; Overall Length is 40.5 inches. WHEEL SIZE: 12.5 inches diameter, 2.25 inches across the tires. COLORS: Various color combinations are available.

  10. HAVERICH TRICYCLE MODEL 16/16

    The Haverich Tricycle Model 16/16 is an orthopedic child tricycle recommended by the manufacturer for children from 3 to 6 years old who may have difficulty with upper body control or positioning, and/or keeping their feet on the pedals. Standard equipment on Model 16/16 includes steering lock angle limiter, dismantlable rear axle, rigid drive train for forward and reverse riding, dual front caliper and drum brake, and parking brake lever. The vertically adjustable handlebars can also be positioned sufficiently forward of the rider so that he/she keeps his/her arms stretched and maintains an almost upright posture. Seats can be adjusted so that with the pedal in bottom position the leg is straightened as much as possible at the knee joint. The chosen gear ratios permit even severely disabled persons to ride a tricycle. DIMENSIONS: Minimum distance from seat top to pedal (in bottom position) is 17 inches, upward adjustable in infinite increments; Overall Width is 27 inches; Overall Length is 47 inches.   11. HAVERICH TRICYCLE MODEL 20/16

    The Haverich Tricycle Model 20/16 is a child tricycle recommended by the manufacturer for children 5 to 8 years old who may have difficulty with upper body control and positioning or with keeping their feet on the pedals. The Model 20/16 has steering lock angle limiter, dismantlable rear axle and folding frame, rigid drive train for forward and reverse riding, dual front caliper and drum brake, and parking brake lever. The vertically adjustable handlebars can also be positioned sufficiently forward of the rider so that he/she keeps his/her arms stretched and maintains an almost upright posture. The seat can be adjusted so that with the pedal in bottom position the leg is straightened as much as possible at the knee joint. The chosen gear ratios permit even severely disabled persons to ride a tricycle.   12. HAVERICH TRICYCLE MODEL 24/20

    The Haverich Tricycle Model 24/20 is an orthopedic child tricycle recommended by the manufacturer for children age 8 to 12 years who have difficulty sitting upright, poor balance, or trouble keeping their feet on the pedals. The Model 24/20 has dismantlable rear axle, folding frame, rigid drive train for forward and reverse riding, dual front caliper and drum brake, and a parking brake lever. The vertically adjustable handlebars can also be positioned sufficiently forward of the rider so that he/she keeps his/her arms stretched and maintains an almost upright posture. The seat can be adjusted so that with the pedal in bottom position the leg is straightened as much as possible at the knee joint. The chosen gear ratios permit even persons with severe disabilities to ride a tricycle.   13. HAVERICH TRICYCLE QUATRIPED DRIVE

    The Haverich Tricycle Quatriped Drive is an arm- and leg-powered tricycle for children and adults suffering from transverse lesion of the spinal cord. The Quatriped Drive tricycles have the arm-power drive that replaces the standard handlebars on any of the Haverich tricycle models from 16/16 and up (see separate entries). These tricycles feature a rigid drive train for forward and reverse riding, front caliper brake, dismantlable rear axle, foot rests with leg guides, standard back rest and chest strap, and steering lock angle limiter. A folding frame is available from Model 20/16 upwards. 3-speed Torpedo free wheel hub with coaster brake is available for manual drive train, but reversing is then not possible. DIMENSIONS (in inches): 27 w x 47 l (Model 16/16); 31 w x 53 l (Model 20/16); or 31 w x 61 l (Models 24/20 and 26/20); 31 w x 71 l (Model 24" and Model 26").
