  1. PATRONI ARMCYCLE

    The Patroni Armcycle is a hand propelled three-wheeled cycle for adults or youth. The cycle's front wheels and crossmember are removable for transport or storage. FRAME: The frame is made of a single steel beam and powdercoat painted in red, white, blue, or yellow. SEAT: The 1-piece seat is semi-recumbent style and made of molded plastic and situated 10 inches off the ground. Seat dimensions are 15 x 15 inches with a 15-inch seat back. Legs rest extended between the two front wheels. POWER INPUT: The handcrank features the traditional opposed pedal configuration but the handgrips can be changed to be parallel for a rowing action propulsion. The rider also has the choice of pedaling towards or away from the body while still maintaining a forward motion of the cycle. Handles can be positioned horizontally or vertically. Power is transmitted from the hands to the rear wheel by a chain drive. STEERING: Accomplished by leaning the cranktower with the hands; front wheels steering. WHEELS: Three, 2 in front and 1 in back behind the seat. All three wheels are 20 inches in diameter with 36- spoke sealed hub on the front wheels. BRAKES: Rear hydraulic rim brake. The turning radius is 25 feet. GEARING: 21 speeds. DIMENSIONS (LxWxH): Overall cycle dimensions are 70 x 29 x 31 inches. WEIGHT: 45 pounds.
