  1. MILK CARTON HOLDER

    --- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 02/2007) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Milk Carton Holder is designed to enable users with poor hand grip to pick up and pour a two litre milk or juice carton. The holder consists of a wooden frame and metal band that goes around the carton and cradles it. The spine of the hickory frame serves as a large handle. PROTOTYPE DEVELOPMENT: This device was designed by Richard Deane for persons with difficulty grasping and pouring two litre milk cartons because of the container's width and mass. The device may also be used by small children or other individuals with small hands. DIMENSIONS: Wooden handle is 2 inches wide with a 1-inch depth.
