    The Tammy and Toby Tracheasaurus Coloring Book, model TT203, is designed to offer children who have had a tracheostomy a fun and educational experience in learning about the tracheostomy procedure, and to offer a forum for discussing anxieties and concerns the child may have regarding their tracheostomy. Toby Tracheasaurus explains to Tammy about having a tracheostomy and introduces her to his collection of dinosaur friends who are also tracheostomized. Therapist may also find this book useful in introducing tracheostomy placement.

  5. TOBY TRACHEASAURUS SPEECH THERAPY FORMS

    The Toby Tracheasaurus Speech Therapy Forms are designed to assist children through the process of tracheotomy surgery and speech therapy afterwards by using a dinosaur illustration (who has had a tracheostomy) to relate their experiences. The forms include an Appointment Card ($4 per pad of 25 cards) to help children remember their appointments; a Therapy Agreement ($6 per pad of 25) to help the child set goals between the child and the therapist; Homework forms ($6 per pad of 25) that serve as a checklist for homework activities for speech therapy; Progress Chart ($6 per pad of 25) to help the child, the family, and the therapist monitor therapy goals in a way that is fun and motivating for the child; an Award ($8 per pad of 25) which is illustrated with Toby Tracheasaurus and friends to congratulate the child for meeting therapy goals and working hard; and Chart Labels ($8 per package of 20) which are stickers for attachment to the child's hospital chart or headboard to alert medical staff to the communication orders for the child.
