PERFIT MOUSE OPTICAL AND CLASSIC PLUS (MODELS PMO & PMO5)
The Perfit Mouse Optical, model PMO, and Classic Plus, model PMO5, is a mouse designed for use by people with upper extremity or fine motor disabilities. Intended to allow maximum muscle and tendon variation during point and click operations, the both models feature sculpted elevated buttons designed to enable the hand to remain open with the fingers extended in a ready position for quick button activation and to reduce excessive load on the fingertips. The buttons can be programmed to perform selected functions. There is a thumb support with a two- position side rocker switch that uses very light touch internal switches and are designed not to require pinch force to activate. The switches "click" with a very slight forward or backward motion of the thumb. The switch rocker is rubber coated and textured to provide maximum grip, with little effort. The Perfit Mouse Optical features a scroll wheel integrated into the thumb support. There is also an elevated wrist support integrated in the mouse’s design. The mouse uses an 800 dots per inch (dpi) optical sensor to track its movement by the user. This mouse is fitted for both right and left hands. ROLLER MOUSE FREE
The Roller Mouse Free is a mouse designed for use by individuals with repetitive strain injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome or tendonitis. The unit fits immediately adjacent to the keyboard or laptop, which places the mousing controls just a few inches below the home keys, keeping the user's hands within a small work area and eliminating large reaching motions as the user's elbows remain by the user's side. The unit is controlled with an unflexed hand, so there is no need to clutch, grasp, or hold the unit in order to navigate the cursor. The user's fingertips roll a narrow bar both up and down and from side to side simultaneously to navigate the cursor over the entire screen, with very little friction or resistance. The elimination of finger flexing avoids activity through the carpal tunnel. The mouse buttons are centered beneath the keyboard home keys, so mouse control is equidistant from either hand, encouraging ambidextrous use. The unit has on board drivers with seven button functions and a USB connector. A wrist rest is included. COMPATIBILITY: For use with laptop or desktop Macintosh or personal (PC) computers. DIMENSIONS: 15 x 4.5 inches with wrist rests, 15 x 3 inches without wrist rests. WARRANTY: Return within 30 days for a refund.
