1. FIXED RAMP FOR TRAINS

   The Fixed Ramp for Trains is a rail car ramp designed enable wheelchair users to enter and exit trains. The ramp set-up consists of three main elements: a Stepless Lite Ramp (see separate entry); a mechanical arm that is attached to the ramp and holds it in position; and a free-standing cabinet to store the ramp when it is not in use. When not in use, the ramp is folded width-wise and placed in the cabinet by the door. The mechanical arm allows train staff to operate the ramp and make it ready for use without having to lift or carry the ramp. This system can also be dismantled and used elsewhere. 2. GULDMANN MOBILE LIFTER (MODELS GL2, GL3, GL4, & GL HD)

   The Guldmann Mobile Lifter, models GL2, GL3, GL4, and GL HD, is a mobile powered transfer lift designed for use by caregivers moving, lifting, and transferring individuals with severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. This ergonomic unit has a large capacity and lifting span, with space for both caregiver and user. It lifts from floor level and from wide beds, and can lift tall users in large slings. 3. LP11 MOBILE LIFTING PLATFORM

   The LP11 Mobile Lifting Platform is an interior or exterior wheelchair lift and wheelchair lift for rail cars designed to aid people in wheelchairs to enter and exit structures with doorways above ground level or trains with doorways that are above the level of the train station platform. The lift has railings on both sides and ramps on both the front and back ends that can drop down past horizontal and raise into a vertical position. It has a base with four wheels so it can be moved into position with or without a person in a wheelchair on the platform. When used, the operator lowers the ramp on one end of the lift, and the user rolls onto the lift platform. When the lift is properly positioned in relation to a structure or train, the platform is raised to the proper height and the ramp on the end nearest the train or structure is lowered into the doorway so the user can exit the lift. To exit the structure or train, this process is reversed. The lifting height is 180 to 950 millimeters. The LP11 can be operated by one person. Safety features include a terminal strip under the platform, an emergency stop and a mechanical descent device. The ramp width is adjustable to adapt to different door widths. 4. LP12 LIFTING PLATFORM

   The LP12 Lifting Platform is an interior or exterior wheelchair lift and wheelchair lift for rail cars designed to aid people in wheelchairs to enter and exit raised platforms or stages, structures with doorways above ground level, or trains with doorways that are above the level of the train station platform. The LP12 has a wheeled base, and it is moved into position before use with a control arm that extends from one side of the base. There is a central wheel lock to fix the unit’s position. The lift’s base has a ramp on one end that is positioned on the side opposite the raised area that the lift will be used to access. When the lift is in position, this ramp is folds out so that the user can use it to roll onto the lift platform. At the other end of the lifting platform, there is a second ramp that is in the vertical position when the user rolls onto the platform. When the lift platform is raised to the proper height, this ramp is lowered into the doorway or onto the platform or stage so the user can exit the lift. The lift platform has railings on both sides and a safety strap that is fastened between the railings after the user has moved onto the platform.
