  1. ASSIST VISION ROYAL (MODEL AV-100)

    --- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 09/2008) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Assist Vision Royal, model AV-100, is a desktop video magnifier designed for use by individuals with low vision. This video mangnifier features an auto-focus CCD camera with tri-level speed for smooth zooming operation. Magnification ranges from two to 50 times original size with a 14-inch monitor. Images can be viewed in full color, black and white positive, and black and white negative (reverse video) modes. The maximum height of viewed objects ranges from 103 millimeters at minimum magnification to 40 millimeters at maximum magnifcation. A built-in memory function maintains the latest image display status. The operation panel is directly below the monitor. The magnifier comes with a video cable, a spare lamp, a monitor holding band, a power cable, and an instruction manual. OPTIONS: Available without a monitor. POWER: Uses alternating current (AC). DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 303 x 425 x 364 millimeters, with 14- or 20-inch monitor. The viewing table is 362 millimeters long x 364 millimeters wide, and the distance between the viewing table and the camera is 162 millimeters. WEIGHT: 12 kilograms. WARRANTY: 5 years.

    --- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 02/2013) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Neo Desktop Video Magnifier is a CCTV designed for use by individuals with low vision. Magnified images are displayed in full color, black and white, or negative black and white (reverse video) modes. The unit is available with one of two monitor sizes. Magnification is 2 to 50 times on the smaller monitor or 3 to 75 times on the larger monitor. Other features include continuous or one-push auto focus, auto or fixed zooming, and a position locator. Display brightness can be adjusted in color mode; contrast can be adjusted in black and white and negative black and white modes. The unit has a movable viewing table with a vertical range of approximately 10.14 inches and a horizontal range of approximately 16.38 inches. At maximum magnification, the unit can be used to magnify objects up to 3.1 inches thick. POWER: Uses 12 volts direct current (DC) from the included alternating current (AC) adapter. DIMENSIONS (HxDxW): 12.6 x 16.7 x 16.5 inches. The monitor measures 14 or 20 inches diagonally. WEIGHT: 32 pounds.
