   The 3V Basic Personal FM System is a FM amplication system designed for use in public settings by people who are hard of hearing.    The Ameriphone AMPXB AlertMaster Personal Tactile Signaler, model 01886, is a tactile paging system designed for use by individuals who are deaf, deaf blind, or hard of hearing. This portable unit has a tactile pad that provides vibrating notice of any kind of alert from the AM6000 AlertMaster Notification System (not included; see separate entry). It can be worn or carried for notification of household events inside or outside the house, including remote areas.

4. AMERIPHONE RC200 REMOTE CONTROLLED SPEAKERPHONE (MODEL 68281)

   The Ameriphone RC200 Remote Controlled Speakerphone, model 68281, is a voice activated and switch controlled telephone designed to provide hands free operation for individuals with fine motor disabilities, upper extremity disabilities, severe physical disabilities, or spinal cord injury. This speakerphone enables users to have hands-free conversations from up to 15 feet away. The phone can be controlled through voice activation or via a one-touch wireless remote control. The one-touch remote lets users with some hand/finger mobility control every function of the phone from as far away as 40 feet. It can be attached to any surface or worn as a necklace. 14. COCHLEAR IMPLANT (MODEL C122M)

    The Cochlear Implant, model C122M, is an internal hearing aid consisting of a thin, needle-like electrode array and a receiver/stimulator encased in pliable Silastic. The two components are surgically implanted in the ear. The smooth, flexible, 22-channel electrode array and the receiver/stimulator assist in optimizing fine pitch percepts in the cochlea. The implant is used in conjuction with a speech processor, transmitter and microphone to offer a detailed representation of sound despite extraneous environmental noise. The receiver/stimulator is in a hermetically sealed titanium case with a ceramic insulator, a pure platinum receiver coil, and a magnet encased in a hermetically welded titanium capsule. The entire assembly, including the electrode array, is encased in a silicone elastomer capsule. POWER: Power is supplied through a 2.5 MHz. inductive link from the headset coil. 82. SUPER SIGNAL SYSTEM

    Super Signal System is a multi-purpose alerting system intended to provide visual or tactile indication of auditory events, such as a ringing doorbell. The system consists of a wireless Doorbell Transmitter and Receiver (which flashes lights when a doorbell sounds), a Phone Module and Lamp Module (which turns lamps on and off when the phone rings), an Alarm Clock and Appliance Module (which turns on a bed vibrator (extra) to signal a specific time), and a Sound Module (which connects to the Lamp or Appliance Module to indicate auditory signals, such as a crying baby). This hardware accessory connects to a telephone and phone line. For up to 40 names entered into its directory, it dials the number when the name of the person to be called is spoken. This model also enables the user to dial to any number, simply by saying the digits to dial, digit by digit. When the handset is picked up, the dialer automatically asks for a name to call, but allows the user to dial manually using the phone keypad by saying nothing at the prompt or pressing one of the phone keys to get a dial tone.

105. WILLIAMS SOUND NECKLOOP INDUCTION COIL

     The Williams Sound Neckloop Induction Coil is an induction loop amplification system designed to be used in conjunction with hearing aids for individuals who are hard of hearing.
