    The ASL 12 Volt Sealed Lead Acid Battery and Charger, model ASL515, is a battery for wheelchair accessories, switches, or sensors, designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities. This transportable battery provides a 12-volt power source for accessories or 12-volt direct current (DC) switches/sensors. The battery is lightweight and can fit into a small wheelchair pouch.     The ASL 6 Function Sip & Puff Bed Control, model ASL703, is a pneumatic bed control designed for use by individuals with cerebral palsy, neurological disabilities, or severe physical disabilities. This controller for a six-function electric bed allows full control of a hospital bed through the use of a sip and puff control system. A sip command selects the bed function desired and a puff command activates the choice. The bed control interface comes with a visual six-function display and sip n' puff control. This sensor switch has an adjustable beam range, and can be used to control a power wheelchair or other devices through head position. For powered wheelchair use it works in conjunction with an ASL proportional driver control. An ASL 804 power source cable (not included)is required to receive power from the power wheelchair. This switch works with all power wheelchair types, and comes with a mono port connector with a 12- or 24-volt power connector.     The ASL Adjustable Proximity Sensor with mono port, model ASL208_M, is a sensor switch designed for use by individuals with upper extremity disabilities, neurological disabilities, or severe physical disabilities. This "no touch" proximity switch has an adjustable "void space" range, which allows the switch to function when mounted under a surface up to a half-inch thick, thus allowing the proximity field to begin above the voided area (for example, the surface of a tray). This switch works with ASL proportional driver controls or for non-driving utilization. It can work with all power chair types, but requires the addition of an appropriate ASL 804 power source cable to receive power from the power wheelchair.     The ASL Egg Switch, model ASL300, is a mechanical button switch designed for use by individuals with cerebral palsy or neurological or upper extremity disabilities. This brightly- colored oval-shaped switch features a seal that prevents liquid or food spillage from entering the switch and interfering with its operation. The base of the switch has screw insets for secure mounting. Each switch comes with a colored cover and a mono port.     The ASL Fiber Optic Sensor with Mono Port, model ASL202_M, is a sensor switch designed for use by individuals with mobility, communication, or severe physical disabilities. This single function switch has an adjustable activation range from touch to 2.5 inches, with a round target area. This fiber optic switch can be programmed for either normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) operation. In the NO mode, switch activation occurs when an object is detected in the adjusted range. In the NC mode, switch activation occurs when an object is no longer detected in the adjusted range. This is a near switch which can be used as a passive "kill" switch on sip & puff systems, a reset switch on chin control systems, an access switch for augmentative communication devices, and a control switch for computer access using Morse code and single switch scan. This switch can be used with any power chair type; it requires the addition of an appropriate ASL 804 power source cable to receive power from the power wheelchair. The fiber optic switch comes with an interface box with distance dial, a fiber optic cutter, a 12 or 24 volt power connector, and a mono port connector. OPTIONS: Replacement mount for attaching the sip and puff and a stealth fiber optic mount for headrest. DIMENSIONS: The target area is 0.25 inch in diameter.

    The ASL Five Switch Adaptor Interface Box, model ASL502, is a control switch interface unit designed for use by individuals with neurological or severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. This switch interface unit enables an individual to utilize five separate switch sites to control up to five separate functions or devices. The unit can interface with powered seating modules, communication devices, etc., through a D-9 connector. It works with any mono port switch and all power chair types. The adapter box comes with 5 mono jacks and a D-9 connector.

    The ASL Laptop Power Converter, model ASL509, is a wheelchair battery adaptor designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities. This adaptor enables the user to run a laptop computer using a powered wheelchair battery. The power source converter connects to the powerchair batteries and converts 24 volts to the voltage required to power a laptop computer. To operate, this converter requires the computer's automotive power adaptor and a model ASL804 power source adaptor.

    The ASL Proximity Sensor with mono port, model ASL204_M, is a sensor switch designed for use by individuals with upper extremity disabilities. This "no touch" switch can be used with ASL proportional driver controls with power wheelchairs or for non driving purposes such as computer control. This single function switch has an activation range of touch to half inch. Activation occurs when it senses a hand or another part of the body in the activation area. This switch is intended to be used through very thin surfaces. It can be used with all power chair types. Power chair use requires the additional of an appropriate ASL 804 power source cable to receive power from the power wheelchair. The proximity comes with a mono port connector and a 12- or 24-volt power connector. OPTIONS: Armrest switch mounting bracket.

    The ASL Remote Emergency Stop Switch, model ASL504, is a remote wheelchair control switch designed for use by trainers of individuals learning to use a power wheelchair. This switch allows a power chair to be stopped within a range of 50 feet when intervention is needed during training. It comes with an on-chair receiver for the power chair. Receivers are available in a choice of Anderson (order model ASL 804), Invacare Lego Block style, Pride, Permobil, or Redel.

    The ASL Single Switch Scanner package for Invacare electronics, model PASL 101IVC, is a powered wheelchair controller designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities, neurological disabilities, or spinal cord injury. This driver control device enables an individual to drive a power chair and access and operate all power seat functions using only one switch. The device has an operator's display module with five LEDs that represent forward, right, left, reverse, and select. These LEDs illuminate and rotate at the scan rate selected. The user can drive the chair or change the mode of operation by activating the drive switch when the appropriate LED is illuminated. Every time the drive switch is released, the scanner returns to the forward position to begin a new rotation. This controller is designed for use with Invacare power chairs and requires an Invacare digital switch interface (not included). The controller comes with a single switch scanner (model ASL 101PG), mounting hardware (model ASL 611), and a choice of ASL drive switch: adjustable proximity (model ASL 208), proximity (model ASL 204), egg (model ASL 300), or light and medium wobble (models ASL 304A or ASL 304B). OPTIONS: Hardware options include a stealth fiber optic mount (model ASL 620) and a left or right side swing-away mechanism that mounts to an ASL head array or Otto Bock style headrest (model ASL 913). Electronic options include a large display with jumbo leads (model ASL JLM), a communication modification (model ASL CM), an auditory feedback modification (model ASL AFM), and a fiber optic switch (model ASL 203).

    The ASL Single Switch Scanner package for P&G Electronics, model PASL101PG, is a powered wheelchair controller designed for use by individuals with mobility, neurological, or severe physical disabilities. This driver control device enables an individual to drive a Jazzy, Quickie, or Permobil power chair with one switch, and access and operate all power seat functions. The system requires a P&G USCM (Omni Plus) digital interface (not included). The single switch control unit has a display module that contains five (5) LEDs that represent forward, right, left, reverse, and select, all of which have an adjustable scan rate. The user can drive the chair or change the mode of operation by activating the drive switch when the appropriate LED is illuminated. Every time the drive switch is released the scanner returns to the forward position to begin a new rotation. Other features include an auxiliary device access port and a smart power source that can provide 12 or 24 volts to an electronic switch. The package includes an ASL 101PG single switch scanner; a choice of ASL drive switch (models ASL 204 proximity switch, ASL 208 adjustable proximity switch, ASL 300 egg switch, ASL 304A light switch, ASL 304B medium wobble switch, or ASL 312 microlight switch; switch mounting hardware; operator’s display module; an attendant control module/training intervention control device. OPTIONS: Stealth fiber optic mount (model ASL 620); swing away mount for ASL head array or Otto Bock style headrest (model ASL 913); large display with jumbo leads (model ASL JLM); communication modification (model ASL CM); auditory feedback modification (model ASL AFM); fiber optic switch alone (model ASL 203) or built into a swing away mechanism (model ASL 620). This single function fiber optic sensor switch has a round target area with an adjustable activation range from touch to 2.5 inches.
