    The Genoa Motion Activated Clock, JMR868A, is a low vision wall clock and automatic night light designed for use by individuals with low vision. This self-setting atomic wall clock has a large liquid crystal display (LCD) display in either 12- or 24-hour format. The month, day, and indoor temperature is shown in much smaller characters. When motion is detected in a dark room, the nightlight and wall clock backlight temporarily activate. The clock has a daily crescendo alarm and user-selectable hourly chime. POWER: Uses 7 double-A batteries. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 7.75 x 4 x 12.75 inches. COLOR: Orange LED backlight.

    The Grill Right Wireless Talking BBQ/Oven Thermometer, model AW131, is a voice output cooking thermometer designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This wireless thermometer verbally alerts the user when meat on the barbecue grill has reached the right temperature. It can be programmed for eight entrées and for various levels of doneness. It has a digital liquid crystal display (LCD) screen with a remote wireless probe to identify temperature/readiness of meat. The unit speaks in five languages with corresponding display (English, Spanish, German, French, and Danish). The sensor has a temperature range from 32 to 572 degrees Fahrenheit. Programmable entrées include beef, lamb, veal, hamburger, pork, turkey, chicken, and fish, with four doneness selections, including rare, medium rare, medium, and well done. Four verbal and audio alert options let the user know the status of the meal (almost ready, ready, overcooked, and out-of-range). An audio alarm sounds when selected temperature is reached. The main unit receives the probe signal from up to 330 feet away. The stainless steel probe detaches from the sensor for cleaning. POWER: Uses batteries. The device has a low battery indicator.

    The Jumbo Atomic Clock with Remote Thermometer, model JMR838WFA, is a low vision digital wall clock and outdoor thermometer designed for use by individuals with low vision. This desktop or wall-mount clock for home or office displays the time in large digits on a liquid crystal display (LCD) screen. It also displays indoor and outdoor temperatures and the date in smaller characters, and shows pressure trends and local weather forecasts using graphical icons. The clock sets itself automatically to the U.S. Atomic Clock, and features an eight-minute snooze and crescendo alarm. The thermometer operates through a Cable Free remote sensor using a radio transmission frequency of 433 megaHertz (mHz), and is compatible with sensors THR138/THR128 (included) or THC138 (optional). POWER: Uses four triple-A batteries for the main clock/display and two double-A batteries for the temperature sensor. DIMENSIONS: Time display digits are 2 inches high.

    SmartGlobe Deluxe, model PR18S, is a voice output globe designed for use by individuals who have low vision or learning disabilities. This globe features interactive lessons with 30 English and six Spanish activities. Activities include quiz games about countries, capitals, major cities, populations, languages, currencies, time, distances, history, science, and current events. There are six additional alternate language options. Activities are activated by touching points on the globe with a Smart Pen, which can be programmed for age-appropriate content for three age groups (5 to 8, 9 to 14, or 15 years and older). Downloadable information is kept current with weekly Internet updates. The globe comes with two years of free Internet downloads. Other features include flags from around the world with corresponding national anthems, and a United States map for more detailed activities. Speakers are located in the pen and base, or the globe can be listened to with headphones. POWER: Uses the included alternating current (AC) adaptor. COMPATIBILILTY: For use with IBM and compatible computers.

    The Starck Large Basic Clock Starck Large Music Clock, Starck Large Visual Clock, and Starck Large Multi Clock, are large display alarm clocks designed for use by individuals with low vision. The Basic Clock displays the time in large digits, with a continuous HiGlo backlight when household power is used. The clock has a daily crescendo alarm with snooze and a choice of seven different alarm melodies. The clock and calendar are radio-controlled. In smaller characters, the clock display also shows weather forecast symbols (sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, or rainy); barometric history in 23-hour numeric format; barometric trends (rising, falling, or steady); altitude compensation setting (minus 100 meters to 2500 meters); temperature and humidity from one indoor sensor and up to three outdoor sensors; temperature trends (rising, falling, or steady); maximum and minimum temperature readings; comfort level (wet, comfortable, dry); and high, medium and low tides with 8 moon faces. The Music Clock includes all of the features of the Basic Clock plus an AM/FM digital radio with PLL tuning, a 16-station memory (eight AM and eight FM), auto tuning and search options, digital sound, and a sleep timer and alarm with eight-minute snooze. The Visual Clock has all of the features of the Basic Clock, and in addition it projects current time and alarm on/off status on to the ceiling at night, with manual focus, 180-degree rotation, and image flip options. The Multi Clock includes all of the features of both the Music Clock and the Visual Clock. POWER: These clocks use the alternating current (AC) adaptor or four double-A UM-3 1.5-volt back-up batteries. The remote sensor uses two triple-A UM-4 1.5-volt batteries. This pedometer measures steps taken, distance walked, time elapsed, and calories burned. Announcements for walking functions and data are delivered though the included sport earbud headphones. Memory stores seven days of walking data including steps, distance, and calories. A Target feature measures progress toward and estimates time to reach a goal. The step counter measures 0 to 99,999 steps, A pacer beep keeps the user on track toward exercise goals. The FM radio can be played through the headphones and the tuner features five user-selectable channel presets and auto-scan. The pedometer includes a digital 12- or 24-hour clock with weekday and alarm. POWER: Uses two CR2032 3-volt batteries (included). DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 2.25 x 1.5 x 2.5 inches.

This talking blood pressure monitor enabless one or two users to listen to blood pressure readings. This unit measures systolic, diastolic, mean arterial pressure, and pulse rate. Readings are also displayed on a liquid crystal display (LCD) screen. This device has a 60-reading memory capacity per user with date and time stamps. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 1.2 x 3.5 x 3.4 inches. LCD screen size is 2 x 1.75 inches.
