    NeoSpeech TTS On Demand is an audio file creation program designed to convert text to audio files for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision or learning disabilities. To use this online service to create a speech audio file, the user goes to TTSOnDemand.com, enters the text to be converted, previews the resulting speech audio, then purchases the speech audio file for immediate download.

    The VoiceText TTS (Text-To-Speech) Engine/SDK (Software Developers Kit) and Server/SDK are speech synthesizer and voice output programs designed to enable software developers to create programs accessible to individuals who are blind or have low vision or learning disabilities. The TTS engine generates synthesized speech from a given input text, and is generally used for building custom stand-alone applications such as desktop applications. It can also be used to output speech from an input text using the provided desktop TTS program. It provides natural sound with clear pronunciatiom. Its footprint can range from 16 to over 600 megabytes, making it configurable for a wide range of desktop applications. Available languages include US English, Latin American Spanish, Korean, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese. A collection of eleven native voices is available across these languages. Hundreds of thousands of pronunciations are included in the default dictionary of each of the supported languages, and dictionaries can be customized to add words and adjust pronunciations. The program supports Supports SAPI 5.1 and C-based Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The Server SDK is an add-on software component for management of multi-thread, multi-voice TTS services in a multi-access/user environment. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: For standard applications, Windows 98 or higher (works under Vista with admin privilege), Linux RHEL 4 or higher, or RedHat-base distributions such as Fedora; Pentium III 500 megahertz (MHz) processor; 128 megabytes (MB) RAM; and 64 to 900 MB database space. For embedded applications, Windows CE 3.0 or higher, PocketPC 2002 or higher, iPhone, or inux (custom); ARM 170 MHz, X-Scale, SH3, SH4, x86, or MIPS processor; 6 to 16 MB RAM; and 16 to 128 MB database space. For Server SDK, Windows Server 2000 or 2003 operating system, Linux RHEL 4 or higher, or RedHat-base distributions such as Fedora; Pentium IV 1.7 GHz processor; 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM; 35 to 900 MB database space.
