VOICETEXT TTS ENGINE/SDK & SERVER/SDK
The VoiceText TTS (Text-To-Speech) Engine/SDK (Software Developers Kit) and Server/SDK are speech synthesizer and voice output programs designed to enable software developers to create programs accessible to individuals who are blind or have low vision or learning disabilities. The TTS engine generates synthesized speech from a given input text, and is generally used for building custom stand-alone applications such as desktop applications. It can also be used to output speech from an input text using the provided desktop TTS program. It provides natural sound with clear pronunciatiom. Its footprint can range from 16 to over 600 megabytes, making it configurable for a wide range of desktop applications. Available languages include US English, Latin American Spanish, Korean, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese. A collection of eleven native voices is available across these languages. Hundreds of thousands of pronunciations are included in the default dictionary of each of the supported languages, and dictionaries can be customized to add words and adjust pronunciations. The program supports Supports SAPI 5.1 and C-based Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The Server SDK is an add-on software component for management of multi-thread, multi-voice TTS services in a multi-access/user environment.
