  1. ADVANTAJET, ADVANTAJET ES AND GENTLEJET Picture of ADVANTAJET, ADVANTAJET ES AND GENTLEJET

AdvantaJet, AdvantaJet ES and GentleJet are insulin syringe infusers that inject insulin without the use of a needle. They are cylindrical, pen-shaped injectors that deliver insulin under pressure through a tiny port (0.006 inches) at the head of the injector through the outer skin and into the subcutaneous layer below. The injection pressure can be selected from six available settings. Before injection, the user attached an adaptor to the insulin vial and attaches the adaptor and vial to the injector. The user then rotates the handle at the base of the injector counterclockwise until the correct dosage appears in the dosage window near the injector port. The injector clicks as each whole unit is added to the dosage so that an individual with low vision can use this device. To inject the insulin, the user holds device perpendicular to the skin and releases trigger button. DIMENSIONS: 6.5 x 1 inches at a 40-unit setting. CAPACITY: 0-50 units U-100 insulin. WEIGHT: 6 ounces. WARRANTY: The AdvantaJet is fully warranted for two years from the date of purchase.
