--- DISCONTINUED (VERIFIED 05/96) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The TheraPlay Adult Irish Mail and Playlearn Irish Mail are hand propelled four wheeled cycles designed to promote upper body and cardio-vascular development for children with physical disabilities. You power the vehicle by pumping the handlebar toward and away from you and steer with your feet. The front suspension allows wheels to go over bumps and potholes independently of the rear wheels the way an automobile does. The Adult Irish Mail is made with 12-inch solid rubber tired rear wheels and a heavy-duty chassis of 1 5/8-inch OD galvanized steel tube. It has a padded tractor type seat. The child's version has a heavy steel tube frame with plated finish; ball bearing wheels with rubber tires; adjustable seat; and rubber handgrips. OPTIONS: Body / Torso Support (see separate entry). CAPACITY: Adults up to 250 pounds. WEIGHT: 60 pounds.
