The Storm Series TDX 4 is a powered wheelchair designed for use by individuals with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury. FRAME (HxLxW): 33.25 to 41 (depending on seating system) x 35.25 x 25.5 inches (28.5 inches with 20-inch joystick). The frame includes Stability Lock and SureStep suspension configured for obstacles up to 3 inches high. Finish options include basic colors (deep purple, cobalt blue, anthracite, wet black, red, silver vein, lavender, wet black with twilight sparkle, jeweled green, denim blue, or midnight blue) or candy colors (electric red, electric blue, electric purple, or electric teal). CONTROLS: MK5 EX controller and MK5 DPJ driver control. CWD: Center wheel drive with four-pole motor package. SEAT (LxW): 12 to 22 x 12 to 24 inches in 1-inch increments for ASBA seat. Options include a 2G Tarsys powered seating system (2GT, 2GTR, or 2GR). ARMRESTS: Full- or desk-length fixed height armrests. CASTERS: Front and trailing casters. WHEELS: 14-inch pneumatic tires. FOOTRESTS: Swing-away 70-degree riggings with composite footplates. POWER: Uses two Group 24 batteries (standard) or two 22NF batteries (optional) and can be configured for third 22NF battery to accommodate a ventilator. SPEEDS: 6.3 miles per hour (mph) standard; 4.5 mph with optional 4-pole HD package; 7.5 mph with optional TrueTrack package. CAPACITY: 300 pounds with ASBA seat, 250 pounds with Tarsys seating system, 200 pounds with Tarsys system and ventilator. WEIGHT: 260 pounds with ASBA seat or 338 pounds with 2GTR Tarsys seating system. WARRANTY: 5-year limited motor warranty.
