Picture of FRONTIER MWD ALL TERRAIN WHEELCHAIR The Frontier MWD All-Terrain Wheelchair is a sport wheelchair designed for use by individuals with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury. This wheelchair is designed for off-road use. FRAME (LxW): 905 millimeter overall length x 710 millimeter base width. The frame has six-wheel articulating suspension. CONTROLS: DX2 High dynamic controls. MWD: Mid-wheel drive. SEAT (LxW): 16, 19, or 20 x 16, 18, or 20 inches; larger sizes are also available. Available seating systems include MPS (standard) or modular adjustable or board seat with MPS backrest. The backrest height is 560 millimeters. BRAKES: Two electromagnetic disc parking brakes. WHEELS: Six wheels with 145 - 70/6 low pressure (3.6psi) black knobby tires. POWER: Uses 38A/hr, 56A/hr, or 73A/hr Gell cells. Maximum current is 160 amps. This chair is equipped with two 24-volt direct current (DC) custom design 4-pole motors. SPEEDS: 6.5 mph. CAPACITY: 265 pounds; 400 pound option is available. WEIGHT: 240 pounds.
