Picture of AEVIT XJ-SERIES STEERING SYSTEM The AEVIT XJ-Series Steering System is a sensitized steering control system designed for use by individuals with upper extremity disabilities. This stand-alone steering control device utilizes a single axis joystick input device. The joystick is constrained to move only in the X-axis, that is, from side to side. The mechanism requires a maximum input force of only 0.2 pounds, and is internally spring-loaded to return to the center, or null, position. This input device can be positioned for either left- or right-hand operation.
