Picture of AUTOMATIC POWER CHAIR LIFT (MODEL AL550) The Automatic Power Chair Lift, model AL550, is a platform van lift designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. The lift's docking station features a self-aligning base, enabling the user to drive onto the platform and be locked in place. An audible latching sound is heard as the chair's pin passes into the locking mechanism, and attempting to back the chair verifies that the latch is locked. The docking base also includes a bright colored indicator pin to confirm the latch is in the locked position. When unloading, the powered chair is released using a single lever located at the front of the base. The lift fits class II or III hitches and folds manually. POWER: Uses battery and supplied electrical harness with full-length leads that attach directly to the battery. DIMENSIONS: 28.5 X 39 INCHES. CAPACITY: 350 pounds. WEIGHT: 112 pounds. WARRANTY: Three year transferable warranty.
