PACESAVER SCOUT RF-P3 & RF-P4    

The PaceSaver Scout RF-P3 and RF-P4 are rigid heavy-duty powered wheelchairs designed for use by large adults with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury. FRAME (HxLxW): 36 to 39 with Admiral's seat back folded down x 40.5 x 25 inches. 24.5 to 27.5 with the Com-For-Back seat folded down x 40.5 x 25 inches. The turning radius is 21.5 inches. The ground clearance is 3 inches. The chair disassembles for transport. The Scout RF-P3 and RF–P4 include front anti-tippers. Both models have a rigid suspension system. The seat frame is black and the base is available in ocean blue, candy apple red, or midnight black. CONTROLS: Integrated programmable Shark 75-amp joystick controller. An optional swing-away controller mount is available. MWD: Front-wheel drive with two matched RPM high torque motors. SEAT: The standard seat width is 18 to 24 inches, with options to 26 inches. The seat depth is 18 to 21 inches with the standard 18-inch Admiral's seat and 17 to 21 inches with the 18-inch Com-For-Back seat. The floor-to-seat height adjusts from 19.5 to 22.5 inches with the Admiral's seat and 18.5 to 21.5 inches with the Com-For-Back seat; the seat-to-footplate height adjusts from 15.5 to 19.5 inches for the Admiral's seat and 14.5 to 18.5 inches with the Com-For-Back seat. The Com-for-Back Seat and a rehab (cane) seat are optional. Other seating options include an adjustable headrest; headrest extension; and specialized seating components with the rehab (cane) seat. UPHOLSTERY: Black or gray velvet or charcoal or gray vinyl upholstery is available. ARMRESTS: Adjustable, detachable and flip-away padded armrests. BRAKES: Regenerative, dynamic disc parking brakes are standard. CASTERS: 8 x 2 inch rear caster wheels with solid tires. Each caster rotates on an articulating arm. This chair is also equipped with 5-inch front anti-tip wheels with solid tires. Stanza power anti-tips are optional. WHEELS: 14 x 3 inch middle drive wheels with pneumatic tires are standard; flat free tires are optional. FOOTRESTS: Front one-piece footplate. A raised footplate, elevating leg rests, and swing-away detachable footrests are optional. OPTIONS: Amputee adapter; front bag; saddle bag; folding basket; cane holder; cup holder; flag; heel straps; elevating leg rest buttons; and oxygen tank holder. POWER: Uses two Group 22 sealed batteries (not included). A 24-volt constant current carry-on charger is standard. SPEEDS: Maximum speed is 5 miles per hour for a range of 19.5 miles per charge. Maximum incline on hard surfaces is 9 degrees with standard anti-tips; 12 degrees with optional Stanza power anti-tips. The maximum curb height climbed is 2.5 inches. CAPACITY: 300 pounds (model RF-P3) or 450 pounds (model RF-P4). WEIGHT: 248 pounds. The heaviest single component is 111 pounds with pneumatic tires.
