EQUALIZER TILT SYSTEM
The Equalizer Tilt System is a powered tilt-in-space seating system designed for use by individuals with neurological or severe physical disabilities. This tilt-in-space system is designed to be mounted on a power base (not included) such as the Leisure-Lift, Inc. PaceSaver M1 powered wheelchair (see entry). CONTROLS: Integrated programmable Shark joystick controller. A swing-away controller mount and attendant control are optional. SEAT (DxW): 14 to 22 x 16 to 22; both dimensions are adjustable in 1-inch increments. The minimum seat-to-floor height is available at 17 inches (18.75 inches with the power seat). The back height is adjustable from 19 to 24.5 inches from top of seat pan to top of back. The seat back angle adjusts 24 degrees (20 degrees posterior; 4 degrees anterior) in 4-degree increments. The padded, curved seat back folds down for transport. The seat tilts up to 50 degrees with a 3-inch center of gravity balance adjustment. Options include a power seat, lateral thoracic supports, adjustable headrest, and a pelvic strap. CUSHION: Custom seat cushions are available. ARMRESTS: Optional removable, flip-up padded armrests are height-, depth- and angle-adjustable. Elbow blocks are available. FOOTRESTS: Angle- and length-adjustable flip-up footplate mounted on a center column with calf pads is standard. Elevating leg rests and swing-away detachable footrests are optional. OPTIONS: Edema pad and tie-down points. CAPACITY: 300 pounds.
