Picture of EMG ANALYZER (MODEL MA-300-6, MA300-10, & MA300-16) The EMG Analyzer, models MA300-6, MA300-10, and MA300-16, is a gait analysis system designed for use in rehabilitation or physical therapy. This digital EMG and Footswitch system is available with six, ten, or sixteen EMG channels. The sixteen-channel system also provides four additional channels for research use. The frequency response on these additional channels, direct current (DC) to 150 Hertz (Hz), makes them suitable for EKG, goniometer, and pressure sensors. All models come with a lightweight backpack worn by the individual undergoing gait analysis and containg a digital data transmission module with electrode and foot switch connections. A thin, flexible, coaxial cable supplies DC power to the backpack and transfers information from it to a slim desktop receiver. The system is compatible with most computerized gait and motion analysis programs. Digital error-correcting telemetry ensures that data is accurate. The system comes with six, ten or sixteen active electrodes; two 30-millimeter footswitches and connectors; eight disposable 18-millimeter foot contact switches; and low pass filters on all EMG channels. OPTIONS: High pass artifact filter (30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 Hz); remote LED bar-graph display and audio EMG monitor; EMG Analyzer Software for MS-Windows (see separate entry); additional electrodes and foot switches. POWER: Desktop unit uses auto-sensing 120- to 240-volt alternating current (AC) power supply; backpack obtains DC power from the desktop unit via a cable. DIMENSIONS: Backpack unit (LxDxW) is 5.25 x 1.75 x 4.25 inches; desktop unit (HxDxW), 12 x 12 x 2.5 inches. The coaxial connector cable is 60 feet long and 0.09 inches in diameter.
