Picture of SWITCHED HEAD ARRAYS The Switched Head Arrays are powered wheelchair controllers designed for use by individuals with severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. These arrays are an arrangement of electronic sensors in a head rest designed to enable control of the functions of a power wheelchair via head movement. These systems utilize an adjustable and growable three-pad headrest with one Zero-Touch Sensor (ZTS) in each pad. As standard, the right pad turns right, left turns left and center activates forward and reverse. Available configurations include a 3 Proximity Swithch Head Array with a 1/8-inch jack for mode/reverse, a 4 Proximity Switch Head Array, a 5 Proximity Switch Head Array, a 3 Proximity Switch Head Array with fiber optics for mode/reverse, and a 3 Proximity Switch Head Array with dedicated mode and reverse fiber optics. SIZES: All arrays are available with a choice of small or large center pads. DIMENSIONS: The large pad is 5 x 5 inches and the small pad is 4 x 4 inches.
