Picture of RESIDENTIAL VERTICAL LIFT XL The Residential Vertical Platform Lift XL is a home elevator designed for use by wheelchair users or individuals with balance, lower extremity, or mobility disabilities or arthritis. The elevator has an expanded metal platform with straight-through access and full visibility under the platform. It has a screw drive with soft touch control pads and a keyed emergency stop. POWER: Uses 110-volt alternating current (AC) wall outlet. Optional 24-volt direct current (DC) battery backup is available. OPTIONS: Adjacent access platform with lower access on the right or left; solid handrail; solid end wall; control wall extension; carriage gate with lock; 48-inch inside grab rail; lighted engine stop; solid platform; solid platform with safety plate; landing doors; lower or upper door with lock; interlocks; oversize landing gate; gate with lock and key remote; gate with lock and toggle; and remote control. DIMENSIONS (LxW): 54 x 34 inches (wider platforms are also available). The standard lifting height is 96 inches; units are also available with 120- and 144-inch lifting heights.
