Picture of E.FIX BASIC & E.FIX PLUS E.fix Basic and E.fix Plus are add-on power units for manual wheelchairs designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. These units come as a solid insert or pneumatic drive wheel system for adult or children's manual wheelchairs. With the electric drive installed, the wheelchair remains foldable and portable. Users can switch from power to manual operation by turning the wheel hubs. The ergonomic joystick controller indicates battery capacity on a back lit liquid crystal display (LCD) panel. Components are quick release for travel. The E.fix Plus comes in heavy-duty or pediatric models. POWER: Uses a 12-volt battery pack. DIMENSIONS: 12.5 inches solid insert (Basic or Plus/heavy duty), 24 x 1.38 inches pneumatic (Basic or Plus/heavy duty), or 22 x 1.38 inches (Plus/pediatric). SPEEDS: 4 miles per hour. CAPACITY: 260 pounds (Basic or Plus/pediatric) or 350 pounds (Plus/heavy duty). WEIGHT: 58 pounds (Basic or Plus/pediatric) or 71 pounds (Plus/heavy duty).
