Picture of SWITCHMOUSE USB SwitchMouse USB is a mouse emulator and switch or joystick input interface designed for use by individuals with upper extremity or severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. This interface allows the user to connect switches to any computer to operate various computer programs by translating switch activation into mouse clicks or button depressions. The individual movements of a conventional mouse are simulated by either a joystick or several single switches, which are directly connected via ports. Instead of moving the mouse, the respective movement (up, down, left, right etc.) is initiated by a switch or joystick. Single switches can also be connected for mouse buttons and special functions such as drag-and-drop and double click. The joystick's trigger contact can be assigned different functions. Speed and acceleration of the mouse pointer are adjustable via two controllers.
