Picture of PERMOLOCK C3 The Permolock C3 is a wheelchair restraint system designed for people with mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury who use the Permobil C300, C350, K300 or K450 power wheelchairs (see separate entries). The Permolock C3 consists of a locking plate that is mounted on the floor of the vehicle and two spring-loaded pins attached to the wheelchair base. The wheelchair equipped with the pins approaches the locking base from the rear with pins aligned to two slots in the top of the plate. The pins slide forward into the locking plate until they lock into place. An emergency release lever is located on the front of the locking plate, and a handheld manual release is attached to the locking plate by a cable. The Permolock C3 includes an indicator light to be installed on the vehicle dashboard to indicate whether a wheelchair is securely locked into place. DIMENSIONS (LxW): 12.5 x 11.25 inches (locking plate). The height and angle of the locking plate are adjustable.

Notes: The manufacturer states that the Permolock C3 must be installed by a certified representative of the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association.
