The Maxi Rest Bariatric Bed, models 4748B, 4748D, 4748DX, 4748SB, 4748SD and 4748SDX, is a motorized bed designed for use by individuals with obesity and severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. This bed features standard powered height adjustment, fowler backrest and leg lift and optional powered Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg. It has a battery backup and a standard remote control. A one-piece frame (models 4748B, 4748D and 4748DX) or two-piece frame (models 4748SB, 4748SD and 4748SDX) is available. OPTIONS: Scale system; over-bed trapeze transfer aid; bariatric mattress; bolsters; side rails; wall bumpers; 5-inch casters. DIMENSIONS (LxW): 80 x 39 inches (models 4748D, 4748DX, 4748SD and 4748SDX) or 80 x 48 inches (models 4748B and 4748SB). The length may be extended to 88 inches on models 4748D, 4748DX, 4748SD and 4748SDX. The width can be extended to 48 inches on models 4748D, 4748DX, 4748SD and 4748SDX. The height of the bed deck can be raised from 15.5 to 29.5 inches. CAPACITY: 750 pounds. WARRANTY: 5-year warranty on the bed frame and deck; 1-year warranty on all electrical components and controls.
