Picture of EXCEL KIDZ CHAIR (MODEL MDS806140PEDE) The Excel Kidz Chair, model MdS806140Pede, is child's manual wheelchair designed for use by children with lower extremity or mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. FRAME: Frame has double coating of chrome plating powder coating and brass-threaded seat screw inserts to reduce stripping from upholstery changes.The frame features aluminum seat cradles and armlocks, and rear anti-tips. There are adjustable telescoping handles projecting from the top of the backrest, and the wheels and casters have dual axles to allow for adjustment of the seat to hemi level. SEAT (DxW): 12 x 14 inches. UPHOLSTERY: Black nylon with a smile face embroidered on the backrest. ARMRESTS: Swing-back permanent desk-length arms with padded, upholstered armrests. CASTERS: Front casters have heavy-duty forks with welded fork stems and sealed bearings. WHEELS: Mag-style composite wheels with treaded flat-free tires. FOOTRESTS: Detachable elevating legrests with composite footplates and padded calf rests. CAPACITY: 250 pounds. WARRANTY: Limited lifetime warranty on frame and crossbar and a one-year warranty on upholstered parts and components.
