Picture of BIGNAMES BigNames is a large print contacts database program designed for use by individuals who have low vision. This program enables an Apple iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to display contacts in large print for people who have difficulty seeing. BigNames uses the device’s existing contact list, including the nicknames the user has defined each contact. It skips loading contacts that do not have phone numbers and displays postal addresses. The program also allows the user to add a star to frequently dialed contacts so they appear at the top of the list and to jump to any position in the contact list or to a specific letter by tapping the JumpBar, a scroll bar that appears on the right side of the screen. BigNames supports both landscape and portrait orientation. Available languages include English, French, German and Japanese. COMPATIBILITY: For use with the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple iOS 3.0 or later.
