PRIDE HERITAGE 2-POSITION PARTIAL RECLINE CHAISE LOUNGER (MODEL GL-358XXL)
The Pride Heritage 2-Position Partial Recline Lift Chair, model GL-358XXL, is a seat lift chair and recliner designed for use by individuals with lower extremity and mobility disabilities. The chair portion is made of a laminate hardwood frame and the lift mechanism has a steel frame. It features 2-way partial recline positioning and a lift mechanism that facilitates standing and sitting. Both the recline and the lift mechanisms are controlled by a push-button hand control connected to the chair by a cord. The built-in heavy-duty lift actuator can raise the chair and lean it forward and a scissor mechanism controls the reclining functions. Other features include standard fire retardant head and arm covers, and a button back. The unit comes with a transformer that features self-diagnostic electronics with a 12-inch cord. POWER: Uses household current, and it has a built-in battery back-up that allows the chair to return to the sitting position in the event of a power outage. The battery back-up requires 2 9-volt batteries (not included). OPTIONS: Available with footrest extension, head pillow, and lumbar pillow (not included). DIMENSIONS: The user height range is from 66 to 73 inches. The overall chair width is 43 inches; the distance from the seat to floor is 20 inches; the depth of the seat is 22 inches and the width is 30 inches. The top of the seat back extends 29 inches from the seat. The seat should be placed 18 inches from the wall to allow space for the reclining function. CAPACITY: 600 pounds. WEIGHT: 168 pounds.
