Picture of COMET SERIES 300 The Comet 300 Series are transport wheelchairs designed to transport individuals with mobility or cognitive disabilities who are unable to maneuver a wheelchair independently. FRAME: Steel folding frame in blue, red, or silver, depending on model. SEAT: The seat width is available in 17 inches (models 301, 317, 327), 17.5 inches (model 338), 18 inches (model 339), and 19 inches (models 309, 319, 329, 339). The seat depth is 16 inches. The distance from the seat to floor is 18 inches (model 330), 19 inches (model 339), 20 inches (models 307, 309, 317, 319, 327, 329), and 21 inches (mode l338). These wheelchairs come equipped with a fold down back and easy fold seat straps. A seat belt is available. UPHOLSTERY: Padded black upholstery. ARMRESTS: Full-length padded armrests. BRAKES: Foot-operated brakes on all models except model 330 which has hand-operated brakes. Brake extensions are available. FOOTRESTS: Non-skid foot plates. Swing-away legrests are optional. OPTIONS: I-V pole and oxygen tank holder. CAPACITY: 275 pounds. WEIGHT: 19 pounds (models 327 and 329), 22 pounds (model 330), 27.5 pounds (models 307 and 317), 28 pounds (model 339), and 28.5 pounds (models 309, 319, and 338). WARRANTY: Limited lifetime warranty on steel frame.
