SPECIAL TOMATO MULTI-POSITIONING SEAT (MPS)    

The Special Tomato Multi-Positioning Seat (MPS) is a youth positioning seat designed for children ages two to fourteen years old with severe physical disabilities. This chair features Hip Flex adjustment to provide seat to back angle positioning with adjustments of 15 degrees hip flexion and 15 degrees hip extension without recline. The chair adjusts to grow with the user and the cushions adjust to meet the child's positioning needs. The thigh depth extension seat cushion allows for growth. Features include height-adjustable head and back cushions with lateral support, a height-adjustable footrest, and a five-point adjustable belt system. Attachment straps secure the seat to most standard home and school chairs. OPTIONS: A tilt-in-space mobile floor base, a push chair base, and an activity tray. SIZES: Small, extended small, large, and extended large. DIMENSIONS: The small seat is 9 inches wide x 8 inches deep. The extended small seat is 10 inches wide x 10 inches deep. The seat to footrest height adjusts from 6 to 16 inches. The height to the top of the back cushion adjusts from 15 to 20 inches and the height to the top of the head cushion adjusts from 22 to 27 inches. The outside seat width is 15.25 inches and the floor to seat height is 14 inches. The large seat is 12 inches wide x 13 inches deep and the large extended seat is 14 inches wide x 15 inches deep. The seat to footrest height on both models adjusts from 11 to 16 inches. The height to the top of the back cushion adjusts from 19 to 22 inches and the height to the top of the head cushion adjusts from 26 to 30 inches. The outside seat width is 19 inches and the floor to seat height is 16 inches. CAPACITY: The small seat and the small extended seat have a capacity of 80 pounds. The large seat and the large extended seat have a capacity of 150 pounds. WEIGHT: The small seat weighs 26 pounds, the small extended seat weighs 27 pounds, the large seat weighs 31 pounds, and the large extended seat weighs 33 pounds.
