--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 09/2007) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Tagarno School Gemini is a CCTV designed for use by students and other individuals with low vision. This video magnifier has a split-screen capability, and can either be connected to a second camera, so that the student can view the blackboard and a book or paper on the reading tray at the same time, or it can be connected to a computer so the student can switch between working on the computer and the text. A foot switch allows hands-free toggling between the computer and the print image. The screen is flickerless and image quality is not affected by lighting. Focusing is automatic. All functions are marked individually on the front panel. Users can choose black and white, reverse image (white on black), full color, or special color combinations such as blue and yellow or black and green. Magnification ranges from two times to 30 times. POWER: Uses five watts of standard electrical current. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): With second camera mount, 11 x 18 x 22 inches. The reading plate is 12 inches long x 22 inches wide.
