Picture of NUMBER PLANE Number Plane is a math skills tutorial program designed for use by children with cognitive or learning disabilities. This program features Murphy mouse presenting 21 practical activities, such as Doughnut Dragons and Florrie Flutter's Kites. Mathematical concepts and vocabulary are introduced clearly with full narration. Contents include numbers from zero to 99, halves and quarters fractions, place value in two-digit numbers, multiplication as repeated addition, division as sharing equally and repeated subtraction, and reading and writing numbers and number names. Program features include three levels of difficulty and automatic help and correction routines. A Teacher's Guide and resource sheets are included. COMPATIBILITY: The PC Macintosh hybrid CD-ROM has versions for use on IBM and compatible or Mactintosh computers with or without a network. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: The IBM version requires a 486/66 or faster processor, 8 megabytes (MB) RAM, 2X speed CD-ROM drive, SVGA graphics, and Windows 3.1 or higher. The Macintosh version requires a Macintosh LC, PowerPC, or iMac; 8 MB RAM, 2X speed CD-ROM drive, and a 640 x 480, 256-color monitor .
