--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 09/2007) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Tagarno Mini-CCD is a stand-alone CCTV designed for use by individuals with low vision. This black and white video magnifier has a magnification range of approximately 3 to 30 times. It can present images in four modes: positive (dark text on white background), negative (white text on dark background), negative with a white marking line, and gray tone. The gray tone setting can be used for photos, pictures, and three dimensional objects, as well as activities such as needlework. The negative setting is especially suitable for light sensitive persons. This unit has a compact, space saving design. The unit's reading tray is designed for ergonomics and stability. It is movable in all directions and can either be braked or locked completely to adapt to reading columns or when the unit is being transported. POWER: Uses 80 watts of electrical current. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 23 x 18 x 21 inches. The reading tray is 12 inches long x 21 inches wide and the monitor screen is 15 inches. WEIGHT: 44 pounds.
