--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 04/2010) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Vee-Zee Rigid Reacher, model H76962-0000, is designed for use by individuals with arthritis and mobility disabilities. This device enables users to reach items overhead or on the floor without stretching or bending. This aluminum reacher features a flexible metal arm support sheathed in plastic tubing. It is designed for left or right-handed use and can be bent into any shape by the user or a therapist. Other features include a grasping jaw and a contoured, textured pistol-grip handle. The jaw has a rubber tip to protect fabrics. DIMENSIONS: 29 inches long with jaws thatopen 3.5 inches. WEIGHT: 1.4 pounds.
