The Discover:Board is a keyboard interface designed for use by children and adults with upper extremity, visual, or cognitive disabilities. This voice output keyboard speaks letters, words, or sentences to provide auditory feedback and can be used with such applications as ClarisWorks, Co:Writer, Write:OutLoud, Speaking Dynamically, and the Internet. The set includes the large membrane keyboard, four keyboard overlays, overlay creation software, support for a variety of programs, text entry capability, a mouse, a number pad, talking and training files, a 500-image graphics library, and a design program to enable customization of Discover:Board files. COMPATIBILITY: Versions are available for use on Macintosh and IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: The Macintosh version requires an ADB port or iMate adapter, a 68030 processor or better, System 7.5.3, six megabytes (MB) hard drive space, and eight MB RAM. The IBM compatible version requires a Pentium or better processor, Windows 95 or higher, 28 MB hard drive space, 16 MB RAM, a CD-ROM drive, and a Sound Blaster or compatible sound card. COLOR: Both versions are available in a choice of grey or blue.
