The Shuttle is a medium to large all-purpose three-wheel scooter designed for indoor or outdoor use by persons with mobility disabilities. FRAME (LxW): Overall dimensions are 46 x 24 inches with a 4.5-inch ground clearance and a turning radius of 36 inches. The base has an open ended design with ample foot space and a continuous heavy steel frame. The body is available in gray or mauve and features full fenders. This scooter disassembles for transport. CONTROLS: The adjustable tiller houses the controls. Custom controls are available. RWD: Sealed transaxle rear wheel drive. SEAT (WxDxH): The padded swivel seat measures 17 x 17 x 17 inches. The seat height from the scooter floor is adjustable from 17 to 21 inches. Custom seat dimensions are available. UPHOLSTERY: Vinyl upholstery in blue, gray, or mauve is standard; fabric upholstery is optional. ARMRESTS: Flip-up padded, upholstered arms. BRAKES: Electronic. WHEELS: Three 4 x 10 inch wheels with pneumatic tires are standard. Flat-free tires and hubcaps are optional. OPTIONS: Crutch holders, front and rear baskets, cup holder, taillight, headlight, oxygen holder, rear bumper, and others. POWER: Uses two 12-volt gel/sealed lead acid batteries; the battery charger is included. SPEEDS: Maximum speed is 5 miles per hour (60 percent reverse) for a range of 20 miles. CAPACITY: 300 pounds. WEIGHT: When disassembled, the rear section weighs 49 pounds, the seat weighs 20 pounds, and the base and tiller weigh 32 pounds. WARRANTY: Three years on the frame and drive train and one year on electronics; an optional nationwide factory warranty on labor and house calls is available at an extra charge.
